Sautéed Black Pepper Beef with Shredded Potatoes 黑椒薯仔絲炒牛肉
- Cut 6-8 oz of beef (sirloin preferred) into slices
- Marinate beef with 1 tsp of soy sauce, pinch of salt and pepper, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with 1 Tbsp of water and 1 Tbsp of oil for an hour
- Cut 3 cups of potatoes, 1 cup of yellow onion into stripes, set aside
- Cut 3 scallions into 2 inches pieces, set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil with 2 cloves of garlic
- Add cut yellow onion and beef stir-fry for few minutes. Take it out set aside
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil to the same cooking pan, add cut potatoes stir-fry for few minutes
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of black pepper, 2 Tbsp of chicken broth continue cook until potatoes turn soft
- Add beef, onions and cut scallions turn to high heat cook for a minute
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
