Pork Chop with Black Pepper Sauce (Hong Kong Style) 港式黑椒汁豬扒飯
1. Tenderize pork chop by using cooking mallet pound on both side
2. Marinate pork chop with 1 tsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of black pepper, 1 tsp of cornstarch and 1 tsp of oil for an hour
3. Cut half of yellow onion into small dices, set aside
4. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil
5. Add pork chop cook both sides to golden brown (average around 3-4 minutes on each side)
6. Use the same cooking pan add cut onion, turn to low heat
7. Sautéed onion until soft and brown (2-3 minutes), then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of sugar, 2 Tbsp of ketchup, 1 Tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tsp of dark soy sauce (optional), 1 tsp of black pepper, pinch of salt and half cup of water
8. Continue cook the sauce for couple minutes, add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
9. Pour the sauce on top of pork chop. Ready to serve
