Albachiara and the eight dwarfs
Albachiara, a fancy girl, lives in a big house in the Mexican prairie, that is the area of the prairie where dogs have been specially placed by the Swiss guard, or rather, Mexican. Seven midgets live with Albachiara, named Babbolo, Mongolo, Dormolo, Dottolo, Stressolo, Picciolo and Eccolo.
But in Mexico there also lives an evil witch, Melinda, with her dwarf Fruttolo.
The witch Melinda is crazy for Vacca Rossi, a bold young man (despite his ambiguous name) who goes around those pleasant places with his horse called Porsche. Vacca, however, is in love, reciprocated, with the beautiful (so to speak) Albachiara, so much so that he claims to have composed it (Albachiara is an italian song) himself.
Melinda is determined to kill, even by the most filthy and infamous means, the Vacca's girlfriend. So she, zompe zompe, goes to the villa dressed as a fruit and vegetables seller.
After the pleasantries, she hands Albachiara a specially poisoned apple. And the girl cheats, without knowing it, cheats to her saying: "Thank you, but apples make me sick. I'll take a couple of kiwis." So Melinda gets screwed and walks away. But this time, sly, determined to slaughter her rival, she puts the poison in the kiwis.
After the usual story, she offers Albachiara the poisoned kiwi, but she replies: "but no, I already took the kiwis the other time. This time I'll take two bananas".
The witch, cursing in Mexican, comes back and, stove or, more modernly, radiator, she, not to be fooled again, poisoned all the fruits. But, returning for the umpteenth time to the villa where the dawn never sets, Melinda meets the old wise man Di Pietro. After a long argument, Melinda is sentenced to life in prison for the contracts on her backyard.
So Albachiara and the seven midgets always lived happily ever after, trying in vain to find that old lady who had such good fruit ...
