OK, preamble. I visited this site: www.capalert.com recently on a
tip off from my girlfriend. Throughout reading it I was simply thinking,
"ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod." This fucking deeply annoying site reviews
films not just from any old wishy washy Christian fundamentalist perspective
but from the fascist Christian fundamentalist perspective. Don't believe
me? Check out below.
I had been so riled up I decided to exploit the anonymity of the
Internet to do a very restrained but adamant flame. It wasn't an especially
mature email but distilled my basic thoughts down to an economical few
lines. The stupid fucker thought that "insulting" someone via private email
was potentially "libel". Erm, no, libel is when you seek to destroy
someone's reputation through spreading derogatory misinformation. Not if
you just tell someone you think they're a prick.
This organisation (no idea how large or small) actually says that no
film or play should contain a character sinning. If it does, it is an
ungodly film and all involved are going to hell. We are talking from the
most minor sin to the biggest. What the fuck?
Have a read below please and, someone, come up with a dramatic,
structured, watchable storyline/film where not one - not one, mind - sin is
committed by anyone. Can anyone do it? I don't mean make it up, I mean
anything made before. Even films about the life story of Jesus have to
involve characters committing sins! Remember Judas?
That fucking Website's a sin. The snatches of sentences starting
with > are taken from my email and he's interjecting his responses. Enjoy.

Biblical times excuse yours? Or mine? Hmmm? Is it your job or mom/dad's
to decide what is fit for their kids? Hmmm? Does the Bible provide visual
presentation of, e.g., sexual immorality or does it simply say things such
as "took her?" Is there no difference in your mind? Hmmm?
