but you know, sometimes,
i feel like in this sea full of fish--
fish learning about each other, growing together--
i must've thought it the community pool,
and i flung myself in with only a flimsy tube to keep afloat.
usually half-high,
like a helium balloon.
i don't mind being attached to the string.
it keeps me from drifting to an alienated state--
where i could throw away everything--
to save my familiar, lonely, dead routine...
so hold tight, don't let go.
and i get closer. closer. even closer yet.
something realistic AND honest
is drawing me in.
seeing REALISM, seeing HONESTY, makes me TRUST things!
trusting things makes me SURE of things!
surely sureity will cause me to radiate SINCERITY!
you're smarter than most i've encountered--
you choose to think between the lines of things between the lines!
help me find the missing piece.
i can't whine on paper anymore,
and i can't whine in text boxes forever.
for the most part,
i've scattered emotions around uselessly,
not understanding them when they've become too burdensome.
