I remember when I was studying for my PhD; the topic was the " hospital ". Its history was so tragic: people preferred risking and maybe dying at home instead of going to the hospital. This was a black hole of no return. If you were going to the hospital, it was probable that you got some deadly disease.
Later, after centuries, they created leper hospitals and they studied new types of buildings to improve hygiene and nowadays hospitals changes completely their image. Yesterday they were safer places than in the past. Until today. Covid-19 brings us back in the days.
