Vegetables Egg Foo Young (Chinese Omelette) 素菜芙蓉蛋
- Cut 1/4 Cabbage, 1 carrot, 1 yellow onion, 1/2 green, 1/4 crown of broccoli pepper into small strips
- Mix all cut vegetables with 2 cups of bean sprouts
- Scramble 4 eggs with a pinch of salt and white pepper powder, 2 Tbsp of cornstarch mixed with water (1:2 ratio) and 1 tsp of sesame oil
- Mix all vegetables with eggs
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil
- Add 1 cup of vegetables mixed with eggs once at a time cook to golden brown on both side
- Place the omelette on a serving plate
- Medium heat cooking pot with 1 cup of water
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce and 1 Tbsp of sugar after water boiled
- Add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Pour the sauce on top of the omelette, ready to serve
