Sautéed Pork Belly with Cubanelle Peppers
- Place 1.5 pounds of pork belly in a cooking pot of water
- Add 3 large slices of ginger, 4 scallions, 2 Tbsp of cooking wine, 3 star anises and 1 Tbsp of salt
- High heat the cooking pot until boil, remove grease and brown stuffs
- Turn to medium low heat, close the lid and continue cook for 45 minutes
- Take pork belly out, set aside to cool off
- Cut pork belly in slices
- Cut 2 Cubanelle peppers and 1 yellow onions into cubes
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
- Add cut pork belly cook to golden brown on both sides
- Add cut peppers and onions, then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce and 2 tsp of sugar.
- Continue stir-fry for a minute
- 12. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
