Sautéed Pork Belly with Cubanelle Peppers

  1. Place 1.5 pounds of pork belly in a cooking pot of water
  2. Add 3 large slices of ginger, 4 scallions, 2 Tbsp of cooking wine, 3 star anises and 1 Tbsp of salt
  3. High heat the cooking pot until boil, remove grease and brown stuffs
  4. Turn to medium low heat, close the lid and continue cook for 45 minutes
  5. Take pork belly out, set aside to cool off
  6. Cut pork belly in slices
  7. Cut 2 Cubanelle peppers and 1 yellow onions into cubes
  8. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
  9. Add cut pork belly cook to golden brown on both sides
  10. Add cut peppers and onions, then add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce and 2 tsp of sugar.
  11. Continue stir-fry for a minute
  12. 12. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
