Lemon Chicken
Ingredients:
- 454g chicken drumstick
- 1 Lemon (Slided)
- Sprinkle of corn Flour
Marinade
- 1 tbsp Amoy light soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp corn starch
- 1 tbsp egg (beaten)
- sprinkle of pepper
Seasoning
- 1 tbsp amoy white rice vinegar
- 6 tbsp sugar
- sprinkle of salt
- 185ml water
Thick Sauce
- 2 1/2 tsp corn stach
- 1 tbsp water
Method:
- Rinse and slice the chicken, then marinate for 30 minutes.
- Dip the chicken slices into corn stack, pan fry over medium heat until turning a golden brown colour. Deep fry until crispy. Ensure fully cooked.
- Pour seasoning over lemon slices and cook for 2 minutes. Then cook with thick sauce until warm. Pour on top of the fried chicken and serve, Ensure fully cooked before serving
