Lemon Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 454g chicken drumstick
  • 1 Lemon (Slided)
  • Sprinkle of corn Flour


Marinade

  • 1 tbsp Amoy light soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp egg (beaten)
  • sprinkle of pepper


Seasoning

  • 1 tbsp amoy white rice vinegar
  • 6 tbsp sugar
  • sprinkle of salt
  • 185ml water


Thick Sauce

  • 2 1/2 tsp corn stach
  • 1 tbsp water


Method:

  1. Rinse and slice the chicken, then marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. Dip the chicken slices into corn stack, pan fry over medium heat until turning a golden brown colour. Deep fry until crispy. Ensure fully cooked.
  3. Pour seasoning over lemon slices and cook for 2 minutes. Then cook with thick sauce until warm. Pour on top of the fried chicken and serve, Ensure fully cooked before serving
