Brown Prinia (Prinia polychroa)

Characteristic: Size 11 cm. A plain-looking small arboreal bird with yellowish green back and paler creamish belly. Its distinctive chsracters are a long pale eyebrow and two pale wing bands.
Distribution: "China, India, Hainan, Taiwan ans SE Asia."
Habitat: "Dry evergreen forest, dipterocarp forest, secondary growth and scrub forest."
Habit: "Foraging mostly among tree canopy or descending to the middle level of tree crown. Sometimes observed at quite low levels in the undergrowth, where it will incessantly quiver its wings. Diet includes small insects, beetles and spiders. Breeds in March, with a usual clutch of 4-5 eggs. The incubation time lasts 12-13 days."
Status: An abundant migratory bird.
