SLAM3.037: What's next?
What's next?
Well, I would like to tell you that one thing is for sure: WE WILL CONTINUE our work as virus researchers and WE WILL CONTINUE to release the SLAM zine. So, you will hear plenty things about us soon... :)
The 2nd and the 3rd issue (this one) had two viewers: DOS and Win95. Till now we think that this is a good idea... This way, both the asm and wordbasic fans/coders can read their favourite stuff from their favourite OS.
We also have some ideas about another viewer made in Java/HTML! Well, this is just a project, so if you want us to make it for you, please speak! :)
Another cool idea would be if we'll make the DOS viewer like the one from Asterix-Zine... Hmm... who knows? If we'll get the time to do it, maybe we will! ;)
Future plans? Hmmn... well now SLAM has showed to the virus scene it's true face! We aren't just a macro coding group, we're a VIRUS coding group! And that includes DOS virii too!!! Some of us code in assembler and others code in wordbasic languages, so remove all the banners about "SLAM=macro coding group", k? ;) We probably got the best macro coders out there, but that doesn't mean that we're some kind of asm lamers!
For the next issue we're preparing some verrrry cool articles/virii... You will see some Full-Stealth Win95 infectors, some polymorphic/full-stealth DOS virii, some Novell Netware virii (supervisor hacking and stuff like that) and of course the best wordmacro virii! ;) Anyway, this is just a small part of all the surprises that we have in mind for the 4th issue! You will still see Pascal/C codes or other cool articles.... SO, stay tuned!!!
Our next issue will probably be out in october/november but nothing is for sure! Anyway, we're still looking for some new members, so if you're a good asm/wordbasic coder and you want to join us, please send a mail to slam@presidency.com and you will get a response soon. We only need some "basic" stuff about you and some of your best codes. We aren't looking only for programmers... We're also looking for some Ansi artists (as you can see the logos from SLAM #2 and #3 aren't too great! :( )...
Well, that's all we had to say! For other informations about some of us, read the Cicatrix's VDAT! It's the best thing that could ever happen to the virus scene! P.S. Hey Cicatrix, you can quote me for that! :)
