Squid with Broccoli 魷魚西蘭花
- Prepare 1 pound of squid: remove the skin, clean the body tube inside out by using salt
- Marinate squid with half tsp of salt, half tsp of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut one bunch of broccoli and one small carrot into pieces. Set aside
- Cut 2 large slices of ginger into small thin strip, set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and cut gingers
- Add squid stir-fry for few minutes, take it out set aside
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic to the same cooking pan
- Add cut broccoli and carrot, then add 1 cup of chicken broth
- One the chicken broth turn boil, add squid cook for another minute
- Add cornstarch mixed water to thicken the sauce
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
