Minced Pork with Tofu 肉丁炒煎豆腐
Minced Pork with Tofu 肉丁炒煎豆腐
- Marinate 8-10oz of minced pork with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut 1/4 of red bell pepper and green bell pepper in dice, set aside
- Cut 1 box of medium firm tofu into large pieces, use kitchen paper towel to absorb water
- Medium heat cooking pan with 2 Tbsp of oil, pan fried tofu to golden brown on both sides (3-4 minutes on each side), set aside
- Clean the cooking pan, turn to low heat.
- Add 1 Tbsp of oil, 1 Tbsp of minced garlic and 1 Tbsp of black bean paste (豆豉酱) cook for a minute
- Add minced pork stir fry for few minutes, then add 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 tsp of sugar
- Once the broth boil, add cut bell peppers and cooked tofu
- Add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
