How to extract a Playstation 2 DVD9 disc with Apache3
This can be done direct from DVD9 in your PC drive or from a disc image.
For Disc images just drag and drop it onto the software.
For DVD discs just run the software.
For Disc images the software will already be showing the contents
For DVD discs make sure the correct drive is being looked at via the drop down menu to the left of Open, then tap Open
If you want to extract both layers
Look on the left side of the software for the PS icon and the text next to it (in the screen shot above this has the text FORBIDEN_SIREN_2 next to it)
right click on the text to bring up an 'Extract All' option, left click on this
Next you will get the Browse For Folder window
Select your destination folder here and hit OK
[Note] I find it easier to just copy and the address of the folder X:\some folder\work folder\Siren2\ and paste that into the Folder: text box then hit OK
That is it for extracting
If you want to extract a single layer
You would do this if some of the files on the second layer share the same file names as some of those on the first layer but are different files, so you would extract the layers into different folders
Look on the left side of the software for the text Layer 0 or Layer 1
right click on the text to bring up an 'Extract All' option, left click on this
Next you will get the Browse For Folder window
Select your destination folder here and hit OK
[Note] I find it easier to just copy and the address of the folder X:\some folder\work folder\Siren2\ and paste that into the Folder: text box then hit OK
