😋🌿⭐️Homemade Pita bread ( Khobez )⭐️🌿💕
This is what I love to bake and eat. Happiness is about enjoying what you have and being grateful for it. Many of you asked for my recipe for this authentic Arab(ic) bread and here it is.

Ingredients:
3 cups plain flour or strong bread flour
1 tbsp instant yeast
1 tbsp castor sugar
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil
1 cup warm water ( 1 to 2 more tablespoon of water if necessary depending on the flour)
Method:
Mix the warm water, sugar and yeast together. Stir well and leave to stand for 5 to 10 mins. Add to the flour, salt and oil and knead really well for 10 mins until you get a soft smooth non-sticky dough that bounces back. Leave it in an oiled bowl to rise for 1 hour.
Cut the dough to roughly 10 equal balls. If you want them smaller, you can divide the dough to 12 pieces. Dust your worktop with some flour. Flatten each dough with a rolling pin (not too thin). Leave them to rest again for a further 15 to 20 mins.
Lay on a preheated baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 220 C fan /(240C /Gas 9) for 4 to 5 mins roughly until they puff up . *To keep them nice and soft for a few days, keep in an airtight container. Enjoy!
