Spicy Pork Sautéed in Shacha Sauce (aka. Chinese BBQ sauce) 沙茶肉片

  1. Cut 8 oz of pork sirloin into slices
  2. Marinate pork with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of water, mix well then add 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
  3. Cut 4 cups of celery sticks into strips, set aside
  4. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil, 3 cloves of garlic and 6 pieces of dry red chili peppers
  5. Once the garlic and chili pepper turns golden brown/dark red, add pork stir-fry for few minutes
  6. Add cut celery mix well
  7. Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of chili oil, 1 Tbsp of Shacha sauce (沙茶醬) and 1 tsp of sugar
  8. Turn high heat sautéed for another 1-2 minutes
  9. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
