Sautéed Pork with Baby Bok Choy 肉片炒小白菜

  1. Cut 8-10 oz of pork sirloin into small slices
  2. Marinate pork with 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of white pepper powder, 1 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
  3. Cut half red bell pepper into strips. Set aside
  4. Boil 1.5 pounds of baby bok choy in boiling water for couple minutes. Add 1 Tbsp of salt and 1 Tbsp of oil prior to put the baby bok choy into the hot water
  5. Place the cooked baby bok choy on a serving plate
  6. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
  7. Add pork and stir-fry for few minutes
  8. Add 1 tsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of sugar and 1 cup of chicken broth
  9. Cook to the pork well done, add cornstarch mixed with water to thicken the sauce, then add cut red bell pepper
  10. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, put the pork on top of the baby bok choy. Ready to serve
