Salt and Pepper Tofu 椒鹽豆腐

  1. Cut a box of medium firm tofu in an inch cube size.
  2. Cut half red bell pepper, half green bell pepper and half yellow onion into small dices, set aside
  3. Lightly breaded tofu with egg and cornstarch
  4. Medium heat cooking pot with 2 inches of oil
  5. Deep-fry tofu to golden brown (6-8 minutes), take it out set aside
  6. High heat cooking pan with 1 tsp of oil
  7. Add all diced peppers and onion quickly stir-fry for 30 seconds
  8. Add deep-fried tofu, then sprinkle 1 Tbsp of salt, 1 tsp of white pepper powder, 1 tsp of black pepper, continue flip the tofu over for 30 seconds
  9. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
