Pan Seared Steak with Mushrooms (Asian Style)
1. Prepare 12 oz of New York strip season with 1 tsp of salt and 1 Tbsp of oil
2. Cut one leek in big slices, set aside
3. Cut 2 cups of mushroom in slices, set aside
4. Medium high heat cooking pan with 2 Tbsp of oil
5. Pan seared steak around 4 minutes each side for medium (5 minutes for medium well)
6. Take steak out set aside for 2 minutes before cut in slices
7. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
8. Add cut leeks, baby corns and mushrooms stir-fry for a minute
9. Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 tsp of black pepper and 3 Tbsp of beef broth cook for couple more minutes
10. Add steak, then cornstarch with water mixture to thicken the sauce
11. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil, ready to serve
