Schloss Biebrich
1
The Biebrich Castle was the summer residence of the princes and later dukes of Nassau on the banks of the Rhine in Biebrich (incorporated in Wiesbaden in 1926).
The building was not created according to a uniform design, but was expanded again and again between 1700 and 1750 until a garden shed had finally developed into a three-wing complex.
It was one of the most important baroque castles on the Rhine.
The front of the Biebrich castle overlooks the river Rhine.
The back of the castle, with the immense garden.
The architecture of the houses in this area is truly unique
as unique are the trees that stand on the bank of the river Rhine
