Redness, flaking or dryness of the lips is a sign that your lips need care.
Due to chapped lips
- Hot air causes dryness, which causes chapped lips. If the lips are chapped, it indicates dehydration of the body.
- In summer, due to dust, soil and environmental pollution, lips also crack.
- If you don't properly protect your lips with sunscreen, they still crack.
- Some toothpastes sometimes do not suit the skin of the lips, even in such cases cracking of the lips is possible.
- When you breathe through the mouth, hot air comes out over the lips, causing the lips to crack.
- Some medicines also cause chapped lips, so drink plenty of fluids, juices and water while taking those medicines.
Lips cracking remedies
By adopting some home remedies, you can also maintain the moisture of the lips naturally.
Rose petals for lips
- Drink plenty of fluids during the summer season, this keeps the moisture of the body as well as the moisture of the lips.
- Mix one spoon of honey in one spoon of sugar. Apply this paste on the lips and leave it to dry. Then rub the lips with light fingers. In this way dead cells are removed. Then clean it with lukewarm water.
- Honey keeps the lips smooth, so keep applying honey on the lips several times a day. If you want, make a paste of glycerin and honey and apply it before sleeping. By morning the lips will be soft.
- Rub a small piece of cucumber lightly on your lips so that its juice gets applied. Leave it for 15-20 minutes then clean the lips with water. Repeat this 2-3 times a day, lips will start glowing.
- Apply petroleum jelly or coconut oil or fresh cream while sleeping at night. Due to this the moisture of the lips will remain inside and they will remain soft.
- Wash and soak a handful of rose leaves in milk for a few hours. Then mash the leaves in such a way that it becomes like a thick paste. Apply this paste on dry lips 2-3 times a day, the redness of the lips will increase.
- While brushing in the morning, if you feel that there is dryness in the lips, then apply the lip brush on the lips with light hands and later apply lip balm.
- There should be sufficient amount of nutrients in the food. Always consume vitamin C, vitamin E, green leafy vegetables and seasonal fruits.
- The more you consume lassi in the summer season, the better it will be for the lips and most importantly, drink plenty of water. The biggest reason is lack of water. Drinking water removes toxins from the body. Drink at least one glass of water even before sleeping.
- If the lips are chapped, then apply both lip moisturizer and lip balm 3-4 times a day.
