Sautéed Pork Belly with String Beans 五花肉炒四季豆

  1. Cut 8 oz of string bean in an inch length. Set aside
  2. Wash 10 cherry tomatoes, set aside
  3. Boil 2 pounds of pork belly in water with 3 slices of ginger, 3 scallions and 1 cup of cooking wine
  4. Remove the brown and grease continue cook for 10 minutes, then rinse the pork with cold water
  5. Cut pork belly in an inches size
  6. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 tsp of oil and 1 Tbsp of minced garlic
  7. Add cut pork belly cook for 10-15 minutes until the meat turn golden brown
  8. Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of white pepper powder, 1 tsp of sugar, 1 cup of chicken broth and 1 cup of hot water.
  9. Turn to low heat, close the lid slow cook the pork for 40-45 minutes
  10. Add string bean with the pork belly and stir-fry for another 10 minutes
  11. Turn high heat to reduce the juice if necessary
  12. Add cherry tomatoes and ready to serve
