Vietnamese Pho (Beef Noodle Soup) 越南牛肉河粉
- Prepare 4 pounds of beef ribs and 2 pounds of beef pot roast. Cut pot roast into big chunks.
- Boil beef with 3-4 slices of ginger, 1 large yellow onion, remove brown stuffs and grease while boiling (boil for 10 minutes)
- Put all beef ribs and pot roast in Instant Pot with 2 packages of Pho mixture, 2 cloves of garlic, 2 large slices of ginger, 2 star anises, 1 Tbsp of fish sauce, 1 tsp of salt and 8 cups of water (1 Tbsp of sugar -optional)
- Set Instant Pot to Soup cook for 1 hour 30 minutes
- Prepare Pho’s side dish: bean sprouts, Jalapeño pepper, scallions, yellow onions, cilantro (cut into small pieces)
- Boil fresh Pho noodle (rice noodle) in hot water for 40 seconds, set in serving bowl
- Put beef ribs, beef pot roast and few slices of raw thin rib eyes on top of noodles
- Add beef broth and sidings, ready to serve.
