Eggplants (thai cuisine)
Eggplant is not fried but steamed, eggplant cooked this method is very tender, soft and not too oily.
eat this dish with warm rice, very delicious.
ingredients
- 2 eggplants
- 3 scallion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper powder
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
how to cook it
- cut the eggplant into pieces then soak in salt water
- thinly sliced scallions and finely chopped garlic then transfer to a bowl
- add salt, pepper powder, chili powder, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, sesame seeds
- drain the eggplant then heat the steamer, steam the eggplant over high heat for 10 minutes, transfer it to a plate
- Pour hot oil into a bowl spices, mix well then pour over the steamed eggplant
- Sprinkle sliced scallions
