Homemade Nanjing Salted Duck
- Defrost a whole duck and make sure it dry out.
- Mix 3 Tbsp of salt, 1 Tbsp of white pepper, 2 Tbsp of peppercorns. Rub inside and outside the duck.
- Fill in several slice of ginger, few green onion and star anises inside the duck
- Let the duck season overnight
- Steam the duck for 45 mins (If you use Instant Pot, 30 mins would be good enough)
- Cut the duck to serve
