Homemade Drunken Chicken
Ingredients:
3 pieces of boneless thighs, star anise, scallions and Shaohsing cooking wine
Directions:
- Seasoned chicken with salt and pepper
- Roll and tide the chicken with skin outside
- Boil chicken with star anise and scallions for 20 minutes
- Immediate cool off chicken in ice water
- Mix half of the chicken broth with 1 cup of Shaohsing cooking wine
- Soak chicken with wine mixed with broth in refrigerator for at least 24 hours
- Cut chicken in thin slice, ready to serve
