Homemade Fish Congee #魚片粥 Simplified version
- Add rice to boiling water. (The ratio between rice and water depends how creamy the congee you like, I used 1:10 ratio)
- Turn low heat and make sure stir the bottom every few minutes to avoid burn
- Rinse the fish fillet with salt
- Cut fish fillet into slices
- Once the congee is ready, add 2 Tbsp of chicken bouillon powder and 1 Tbsp of salt
- Turn to high heat and add the fish fillet (you only need a minute to cook the fish for single serving)
- Add scallions, shredded gingers and white pepper powder for favor
