Szechuan Hot & Spicy Beef

  1. Cut beef (sirloin preferred) in strips.
  2. Marinated beef with 2 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of sugar, 1 tsp of white pepper, 2 Tbsp of cornstarch and 2 Tbsp of oil
  3. Cut celery, carrots, scallions and jalapeño peppers
  4. Medium heat cooking pan with 1 Tbsp of minced garlic and 2 Tbsp of oil
  5. Stir-fried the beef to medium and take it out. Leave the left over oil in the pan
  6. Add celery and carrots stir fried for few minutes
  7. Put the beef back in, add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 2 Tbsp of Hoisin sauce, 1 Tbsp of black pepper
  8. Add scallions and jalapeño pepper at the end.
  9. Add 1 tsp of sesame oil and ready to serve
