Vietnamese Pho Soup (Instant Pot Version)1. Boil 4 pounds of beef ribs in hot water for at least 5 minutes to clean out the dirt. Rinse the beef with cold water.2. Cut the ribs to individual bone and place it inside Instant pot3. Add half yellow onion, 2 star anises, 1 large slice of ginger and 1 package of pho spice (I used GIA Vi brand’s special spice for pho)4. Add water to Instant pot to “max”5. Set Instant pot to “Soup” and increase cook time to 1 hr 20 minutes6. Cut or prepare the following ingredients for the soup topping: scallions, cilantro, yellow onion, red chili pepper, jalapeño pepper, lime, mint leaves and bean sprouts7. Boil Vietnamese beef balls and cut into slices, set aside add to the beef broth when done8. Once the beef broth done, taste to fit with 2 Tbsp of fish sauce, 1 Tbsp of salt, 2 Tbsp of sugar and beef bouillon9.
