Chicken with Potatoes and Carrots
Chicken with Potatoes and Carrots
- Cut 4 chicken thighs into pieces
- Marinated with 2 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of black pepper, 2 Tbsp of cornstarch and 1 Tbsp of oil for few hours
- Cut potatoes and carrots into cube size, set aside
- Cut 3 slices of gingers and 2 scallions, set aside
- Low heat the cooking pan with 2 Tbsp of oil
- Add gingers and 1 bay leave cook for a minute
- Turn heat to medium, add chicken
- Cook the chicken for few minutes until the outside turn brown
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 Tbsp of sugar and 1.5 cup of chicken broth
- Add potatoes and carrots, turn heat to medium low
- Cook for 15-20 minutes until the sauce start to dry out
- Add scallions and 1 tsp of sesame oil. Ready to serve.
