Pan Fried Pork Belly
- Cut 1 yellow onion and 3 scallions in slices, set aside
- Boil 2 pounds of pork belly in a pot of hot water with 1 Tbsp of salt, 2 star anises, 3 large pieces of ginger, 3 scallions and 1/2 cup of cooking wine for 30 minutes
- Take the pork belly out and rinse it in ice water for 10 minutes
- Once the pork belly cool off, cut into thin slices
- Sautéed some baby Bok Choy with 1 tsp of salt, set aside
- Medium heat cooking pan with 2 Tbsp of oil, 1 Tbsp of minced garlic and the chopped yellow onion
- Add the pork belly stir-fry until slightly burn.
- Add 1 Tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tsp of white pepper and scallions
- Add 1 tsp of sesame oil and place the pork belly on the top of the sautéed baby Bok Choy. Ready to serve
