Tips for using coconut flour

1. Coconut flour behaves differently from recipe to recipe, but the general rule is 25% - 30% coconut flour to regular flour, so if using cook of hour in a normal recipe change it to 25 g or 30 g of coconut flour


2. Coconut flour is very absorbent, so depending on what you are making you will need to increase the amount of liquid.


3. To help wit binding, sticky sweeteners like agave nectar or Marple syrup can be used


4. The way of using coconut flour are endless. It's definitely not limited to just cakes, it's also great for thickening up a curry or soup or adding a teaspoon to a smoothie for an extra hit of fibre
