Puliti e mondati accuratamente si tagliano a fette piuttosto grosse, poiché seccando diminuiscono assai di volume, si mettono su delle assi di legno e si espongono al sole ad intervalli di 5 - 6 ore voltandoli continuamente.
Quando saranno ben secchi, conservarli in sacchetti di velato, tenendoli appesi all' aria.
Quando vorrete usarli non avrete che metterli in bagno per un po' di tempo in acqua fredda.
