Dreamcast / GP32 link cable
Dreamcast-Scene (www.dreamcast-scene.com) developed a new hardware device which connects the GP32 and Dreamcast hardware and let grow both scenes together: The Dreamcast / GP32 link cable. This periphery will be sold, watch the Dreamcast-Scene and internet for more information.
Official announcement
Dreamcast-Scene presents their newest product for home developers for both the Dreamcast and GP32 scene, the Dreamcast / GP32 linkcable. This cable works the same way the well known Nintendo GameCube / GameBoy Advance or Dreamcast / NeoGeo Pocket (Color) link cable does. The linkcable can be used in different ways. First of all, it was created to use the two systems for unlock goodies in games. Of course, it also can be used for trading save games and downloading MP3 files from a CD in the Dreamcast to the Smart Media Cart in the GP32. It can be used in much more different ways, there are nearly no borders for the creativity of developers.
Additionally, the creators of the KallistiOS Dreamcast development kit, Cryptic Allusion, announced that they're going to include some routines and tools for the Dreamcast / GP32 link cable in their development tool.
