General requirements applying to each job:

  • excellent problem-solving skills.
  • previous experience helping others solve problems.
  • know and use several programming languages.
  • work or thesis concentrating either on operating systems or a graphics and window system environment.
  • familiarity with Unix and C a plus.
  • can write a concise description of a technical problem and solution.
  • be a pleasure to work with as part of a team.
  • prefer minimum of one-two years experience.

Specialized requirements: Need to possess or be driven to develop expertise with either PostScript graphics, Mathematica, our software development environment, or databases and information tracking. Some other specialties also needed; if we can't say it yet but you're great and you figure it's something we've got to be doing, let us hear from you. A strong customer focus and desire to share and educate in your area of expertise is essential.
