ATARI CORP (UK) LTD issues this as information only and will not be responsible in any way for invalidated printer warranty or any damage caused whatsoever to printers as a result of this modification.
IF IN DOUBT, CONSULT YOUR PRINTER MANUFACTURER OR DEALER.
Printers in the ranges listed below will need to be modified before they will print successfully on the Atari 1040STF and 520STM computer parallel printer ports.
- Duke
- Walters
- Mannesman Tally
- Kaga Taxan
- Triumph Adler
- Cannon
The modification should have no effect on the printers compatibility with other computers. To carry out the modification you may need a schematic diagram of the printers circuit board.
