Please note in the News section a note on the death of a dream
inspired artist, Gordon Onslow Ford. Dreamwork owes much to the
Surrealists.
The Association for the Study of Dreams has many projects active
right now, including a pledge drive, online auctions, preparation
and registration for the international conference next year in
Copenhagen and regional activity as well. We don't always cover
the full range of their activities, so you may want to sign up for
their free e-mail newsletter at

Lucy Gillis has brought Electric Dreams readers a wide variety of
lucid dream experiences that have delved deeply into the topic.
This month she is including an except from Lucid Dream Exchange by
Katie, who will be reviewing a lucid dream related book by Olga
Kharitidi, the "Master of Lucid Dreams." Is this a true encounter
with a master or a tale spun in the long Slavic Winter? Be sure to
read the review and find out.
How can various divinatory systems be used in conjunction to
explore dreams? Linda Lane Magallón, author of _Mutual Dreaming_,
asks this question and explores the significance of some of the
answers in "I Ching, Tarot, Star+Gate And Dreams."
Jean Campbell's "The View from the Bridge"(The World Dreams Peace
Bridge) is a wonderful example of how a dream sharing community
can impact a nation, a world, a universe. Jean says, "For anyone
who doubts that people dream together, and that possibly we are
dreaming the world into existence, the collected dreams from this
month on the Peace Bridge can be viewed as a study in collective
consciousness. Filled with astronomical phenomena, November has
been a busy month of dreams, culminating in the DaFuMu dreaming
for the people of Istanbul. I have appended a collection of the
Istanbul dreams at the end of this article, but at least a brief
commentary on other events of the month seems important as well."
Nick Cumbo newsletter and column reports on the explorations of
the Sea Life community. Sea Life, the main web forum at
Dreampeace, aims to bring together a circle of dreamers from
around the globe, collaborating in dreaming adventures, and
'dreaming with and for the earth itself.'
This moon, the people at Sea Life, completed a 'Psychedelic
Dreaming' project, in which explored the possibility of taking
psychedelics within a dream, and if so what effects the experience
might have.
In Ian Campbell's dream journal records dreams he believe are
preparing him for death. What? Yes, and this links into the dreams
he had before his parent's death as well. Ian has started a dream
blog on this topic and invites you to join him. Read "Dream Blog
on Dream Dreams."
Stan Kulikowski II returns this month with a Thanksgiving dream,
Child of Darkness.

>>>> Dreamwork in Taiwan William R. Stimson
Dr. William R. Stimson left academia and opted for a life of
radical simplicity centering on meditation, martial arts, yoga,
dream analysis and writing. He is the founder and former editor of
the Dream Network Journal and led evening dream groups in
Manhattan. For years he conducted the free all-day meditation
group every Saturday at the Ch'an Meditation Center in Elmhurst,
Queens. His writing has appeared in numerous journals and
magazines.
He currently lives in Taiwan where he is devoting himself to
writing.
This exciting group uses state-of-the-art methods for exploring
dreams in a collective setting. Facilitated by a Ph.D. personally
trained by Montague Ullman, M.D., who originated the approach in
Sweden. From beginning to end, the dreamer controls the process.

EXPERIENTIAL DREAM WORKSHOP
Led by Dr. William R. Stimson and Dr. Shuyuan Wang
Four consecutive Saturdays - In English - Enrollment limited to 12
- No charge
From the Website:
Why dreams?
To bring out the intelligence, feeling and sensitivity trapped
inside, that you don't even know you have. To connect with your
deepest genius, your highest potential, your true nature. To live
a life in which you are really you and not someone others have
wanted you to be. Thereby, to become a wholly-integrated person.
What is an experiential workshop?
This is a process of dream work developed by Dr. Montague Ullman
in Sweden. In this method no outside conceptual framework, be it
Freudian, Jungian or other, is imposed upon the images of a dream.
Rather the concepts necessary for their interpretation are brought
out from inside the dream itself by a group dynamic that is
intellectually challenging but also playful, creative and fun.
Expect laughter, tears, excitement and much learning about the
genius of the human mind. This is the first time this work has
ever been brought to Taiwan.

>>>> Gordon Onslow Ford Dies
A dream inspired painter, Gordon Onslow Ford, died at the age of
90 from a stroke at his home and studio in California. Ford was
the last of the original Surrealists group formed around Andre
Breton in Paris.
His foundation, the Lucid Art Foundation, continues under the co-
founder and director, Fariba Bogzaran, who is herself a long time
artist and psychospiritual dream supporter, having developed many
dream arts programs with the Association for the Study of Dreams
and having produced the first Dream Certification program at a
University (JFK).
Bogzaran's online biography of Gordon Onslow Ford relates how
Ford, born in England in 1912, found his way to the Paris of the
1930's and fell in with Matta and Andre Breton, who were already
evolving the Surrealist Movement.
Bogzaran writes:
"As a Surrealist, Onslow Ford was initially interested in dreams;
recording and making sketches of his own dream experiences. Early
on, however, it became apparent to him that it was impossible to
paint dreams and that the rendering of the dream image was merely
a copy of a past event. Unlike many Surrealists who were
interested in Freud's theory of dreams, Onslow Ford gravitated
toward Carl Jung's idea of the Collective Unconscious and
Ouspenski's theory of the Fourth Dimension. His artistic passion
aimed toward expressing what lies beyond the personal in dreams."
From his book _Creations_ Ford writes "The ideal way in which to
express a dream would be to get it down as it happens,
unfortunately, this is not possible as a dream image appears in
the mind faster than it can be painted. " (pg. 35)
Ford continued to valorize dreaming, not the visible dream that
was taken as a representative of life, but the pre-
representational dreaming, the world barely accessible to
consciousness, yet upon which consciousness rests. Like his
Surrealist friends, he is suspicious of given forms and seeks to
break through them to world beyond.
"Some dreams are messages from the depths in symbolic language,
but how rare is it in dreams to catch an inkling of what the
inner-worlds are really like! But I am sure that I visit the
inner-worlds every night while asleep as I recognize what
appears spontaneously in my paintings and am led on with a sure
sense of direction." _Creation_ (pg 63)
Access to the inner-worlds is not direct, but through "involution"
where awareness is based on the known, but moves towards the
unknown. Ford refers to this place as "
the worlds within worlds
that move from the surface between the conscious and the
unconscious towards the depths of the unconscious." (_Creations_
pg 75)
And Ford's work expresses these values.
In his paintings the primary elements of |O· (line - circle dot)
move away from representational marks to spontaneously expressed
space-matter in time. The known world seems to both speed up and
slow down at the same time as it becomes rotations, intensity and
speed. "|O· is a trinity in which every element, be it line,
circle or dot can be made at the highest possible speed with full
attention. " (Creation pg 82)
These revelations developed over time. Bogzaran reports that Ford
came to the America's in the 1940's, and after some time in Mexico
developing post-surrealist trends, he came to the Bay area in
California where he was influenced by Haridas Chaudhuri's
Hinduism and Alan Watts Zen-Buddhism. These ideas particularly
found expression in calligraphy. Each step brought out new ways
to express the inner-world.
"When the painter first glimpses the Muse in another person or in
dreams, she is illusive and unattainable, but through persistent
devotion, he finds ways to come closer." (Creation, pg. 64)
Ford never left the Bay Area and through the decades produced a
wide variety of paintings, artist's communities, texts and
exhibits that testify to the profundity of his vision.
The Lucid Art Foundation continues to support a direction in art
that expresses the "quest of the Inner-worlds."

>>>> The Primordial Project - Seeking Volunteers in DreamTime
in 2004 and 2005.
Dear Dreamers, Light Workers and Healers
I am starting a Dreaming Project on the Dream Plane. I have
finished my studies and am ready to begin. My 7-year cycle that
has ended, after my awakening and self-healing begins a new 7 year
cycle. I am grateful for the continuing guidance in my work by
teachers, friends, relatives, studentst, God/desses and Ascended
Beings.
THE PROJECT AND PURPOSE:
To energetically begin to remove blocked energy and clear, purify,
bless and set compassion and love 'intention' of 9 specific
Ancient Temples on the 'Curved' matrix line across the Earth.
[Most are familiar with the 'Linear' Grid Matrix Line of the
Ancient Pyramids around the globe but these are not the Temples.]
This work will begin to open Portals to remove Old Systems of
Duality [Pyramidal Societies] and begin to open Wholeness of the
Cycular or feminine energy and the New Systems of the coming
Egalitarian Societies. The list of Temples were given directly to
me through the Ancient Antlantian Thoth [Djewty], as he now passes
the Ancient Sword of the Sacred Masculine to the Sacred Feminine
within all of us.
VOLUNTEERS:
I am seeking those who can work in DreamTime at night or during
the day. Those who are experienced with Energetic Healing,
Energetic Space Clearing in the physical realms, those working
with transformational Water Healing, Sound Healers and/or those
experienced with Psychopomps. If you are an advanced Dreamer
without these backgrounds, you will be considered with your
particular gifts of the ability to hold sacred space. These
requirements above are not absolutes. Any work including
Shamanism, Feng Shui, Reiki Master/Practitioner, Pranic Healing,
Cranio-Sacral etc. is also helpful.
The volunteer must not be associated to just one singular religion
or indigenous path, but a Rainbow person who accepts and embraces
all teachings and ancient teachings. Understanding of Lunar
Alchemy or systems beyond basic Mayan principles and use the Lunar
energy as guidance is helpful but not mandatory. Deeply Spiritual
practices of Meditatation, Yoga, Prayer, Intent or Affirmation
work also helpful if these are your particular path. Global
Reverence of Love as the Divine Energy Foundation.
PROJECT SCHEDULE:
I am setting up a Schedule to visit 9 particular Temples in 2004
and 2005 on the Dream Plane in a repeated series of Healing
Visits. Your work can be done at night in the Night Dream or
Shamanically in the Day or in the Day Dream Awake (if you are at
advanced level). Please write me personally and I will begin a
list of 'dedicated' volunteers and keep in contact with you as I
progress with the final schedule. If you are called to this
project, I seek only dedicated, serious and committed follow
through the long haul types of volunteers, who have moved into
action.
FACILITATORS PERSONAL NOTE:
I HAVE LEARNED from my personal healing journey that: Peace on
Earth begins with reaching great states of Inner Peace and self -
acceptance of both personal Light and Dark Nature, and working
towards wholeness with great dedication daily; Secondly awakening
to personal illusion, denials, self suffering or victim
consciousness; Third, into personal shadow work and integrating
darkness [creation] rather than rejecting it to re-balance the
chakra system for wholeness of masculine and feminine energy
within and lastly Core Fear Issues that arise to push through
conscious levels into the unconscious with awareness for depths of
personal Clarity and Discernment. An Awakening to the Logical and
Reasoning Minds Limitation. Compassion and Wisdom teachings with
an integration of the Spirit of Nature within and in the physical
world of Fire, Earth, Water, and Air and their Archetypes and an
awakening or understanding of Mother Nature herself as she comes
alive as a living and breathing spiritual energy. Energy Systems
within to merge as Co-creator in the Matrix of the Unified Fields
and self-connectedness to the All [Cosmic Mother Energy].
Blessings Mary Novak

>>> Mutual Dreaming Experiment Bjo Ashwill
A call for participants in a research dream project. I am looking
for people who are either
1. Attended and participated in the PsiDreaming online conference,
or
2. People who are NON psi dreamers or
3. People who consider themselves psi dreamers and didn't happen
to be a part of the conference.
The purpose of this research project (Intentionally As An
Important Factor In Mutual Dreaming Similarities) is to attempt to
show that having the intention of dreaming mutually will cause
more frequent similarities in dream elements among the mutual
dreamers. I also need people who do not do mutual dreaming as a
control group.
The process will be as follows:
A computer program called DreamSpinner will be used to input all
the dreams submitted to this project. This program uses the words
in the narrative (dream report) to create frequency lists of all
elements in the dream report. One data processor, Bjo Ashwill,
will maintain reliable consistency in her method of linking each
word in the narrative to the appropriate categories in the
program. (An expanded version of the Hall/van de Castle content
analysis categories.)
Four different groupings of dreams will be kept in separate
databases in DreamSpinner to be able to compare these different
groupings with each other.
First grouping will be dreams that occurred during a mutual dream
contest with full intentionally in place (Dreams from 2 different
contests 2002 and 2003 will be used, 9/26/02 and 9/25/03)
Second grouping will be dreams from those same mutual dreamers but
from dates chosen randomly in the past so no mutuality intention
was present. (Assuming no precog time warp!) (April 4, 2003 and
July 15, 2003.)
Third is a control group of dreamers who do not necessarily
consider themselves psi dreamers who will present dreams from the
following nights. 9/25/03, 7/15/03, 4/4/03 and 9/26/02. You do not
have to have dreams on all four nights to qualify, just send the
dreams on the nights you did have dreams.
The fourth group of folks didn't have dreams on those four nights,
so you may send in any dreams of your choosing from 9/25/02
through now. For those of you who had dreams on one or two of
those nights you may choose dreams at any date of your choosing
from 9/25/03 through now in addition to the ones on the chosen
dates.
I would like three things from each of you willing to participate.
1. The Dreams:
Your dreams for the nights of 9/25/03, 7/15/03, 4/4/03 and
9/26/02. Or if you do not have dreams on these nights, send dreams
of your choosing from 9/2/02 through now.
(I ask you to reexamine your dream report with complete details in
mind. Fill in all those missing details we take for granted when
we write our regular dream reports. Add colors, shapes, materials,
structural details. The fact that I don't know you personally and
I will be inputting the information into a computer program means
that only the details you write in the report will be examined. Do
not assume I will know the shape of your table or any other
object.(square, round, oval etc.) Label the characters with age
(adult, child, baby or teen), sex (male or female or blended),
numbers of them (group or individual), and identity (relation?
Friend? Husband or wife or child? Occupational, Famous or
prominent?) Colors, shapes, sounds, feelings need to have
descriptive words in the dream report for it to be counted in the
DreamSpinner software. More is better.
2. A permission form (enclosed here, just copy and paste into an
email to me dreambjo@comcast.net)
Answer yes or no to each of the following sentences:
1. ___I give permission to use my dreams that I submit to this
research project for the purpose of calculating the frequency with
which images and dream elements are similar or not to the other
dreams also submitted to this project.
2. ___I give permission to publish or print the results of this
research project using my dreams as part of the data.
3. ___I give permission for excerpts of my dream to be published
or printed with my name attached.
4. ___I give permission for excerpts of my dream to be published
or printed without my name attached.
5. ___I also give permission for Bjo Ashwill to use my dream as
part of a norming base for the software DreamSpinner. The
information will be anonymous. (This is purely optional, I'm just
trying to -- gently caress two birds with one hand) ; )
6. ___I would like periodic updates on the info this research
project comes up with.
3. Filled out question form for demographic information. (also
copy and paste, and email to dreambjo@comcast.net.) Personal
contact info like address and phone will be kept confidential.
1. Name:
2. Age:
3. Sex: (Male or female)
4. Marital Status:
5. Educational level achieved.
6. Snail mail address: Street Number and name, City, state or
province and country.
7. Email address:
8. Phone Number.
9. Consider self a psi dreamer? ___ For how long?____
10: Have you had experiences with Mutual dreaming before? If yes,
then for how long?
11. How long have you kept journals of your dreams, assuming you
keep a journal.
12. Do you consider yourself an introvert or an extrovert in
thinking style?
I very much appreciate your involvement in this research project.
Thanks,
Bjo Ashwill, dreambjo@comcast.net
>>>> Survey: How to apply dreamwork? Bitsy Broughton
I am a student in the JFKU Dream Studies certificate program in
Orinda, CA. I am searching for new creative ways to apply
dreamwork education and experience, beyond traditional therapeutic
practice or laboratory based sleep research. I believe that all
of us in the field have creative new ideas and see possibilities,
but have no single place to gather those ideas together and see
what we can make of them.
If you have any thoughts on the following few questions, I
would appreciate your perspective. If you would like to know the
results of my search, I will be happy to share it with you once it
is complete. I anticipate that to be early December.
Do you see opportunities for career work combining dreamwork and
spirituality? What are they?
If this work could be placed on a spectrum from highly traditional
to highly non-traditional work, and work in the ministry or in
churches is at the traditional end, what would be at the highly
non-traditional end?
Do you know of other sources you would recommend I contact, or
better questions I should be asking?
Thank you for your insights.

>>>> Computer Dream Survey
Are you dreaming of problems with your hard disk, getting
connected, the wrong programs coming up, not being able to find
the file you want? Does your computer turn you on, and have you
found yourself mating with a digital partner or cyborg sex? Has
god spoken to you through your computer in a dream? Has the
computer in a dream assisted you in becoming lucid?
Just as during the last turn of the century, we shifted from horse
and carriage dreams to cars, trucks and jets, now we are entering
a new cyber-symbolic era of networking and global interface. What
dream content will remain, what will change?
Take the Computer-Dream survey and help us better understand the
changing night-scape of the digital culture.

http://helen7.home.comcast.net/bag/bag.html
Bag O' Dreams is an application for the exploration of dreams. Bag
O' Dreams does not interpret dreams: instead it provides a way to
search dreams for related themes and content using information
retrieval techniques. You can enter a list of terms and phrases
associated with a concept or theme and Bag O' Dreams will
automatically identify the dreams that are most likely to be
relevant to it. You can also start from a particular dream and
find other dreams that closely match it in content or generate a
list of common themes contained in the dream. Starting from the
level of individual words, you can discover which other terms are
commonly associated with it, how often it occurs and display it in
the context of your dreams. Starting from a collection of dreams,
Bag O' Dreams can automatically partition these into sets of
dreams that are thematically related.

>>>> Alchera Designer Harry Bosma's new website
www.Alquinte.com is now officially Harry Bosma's new personal

Electric Dreams: What happened to the Healing Dreams site?
Harry Bosma: I needed a larger place hosted by a real webhost
instead of my ISP. While working on the Alquinte website, I have
also come to think of it as symbolizing the start of a new phase
in my life. Healing Dreams was strongly related to my background
with CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), and there are encouraging
signs that I may be able to leave much of the CFS behind me soon.
To tell a bit more about Alquinte: the latest addition to Alquinte
is a page with dream art, made while testing Laura Atkinson's
dream art class. I also have the More Lucid Dreams project at
Alquinte, and the results of the Importance of Dreams survey.
ED: What does Alquinte mean?
HB: In my dreams, strangers sometimes have names. In one dream my
uncle - a psychologist - asks me whether I've seen his daughter
Alquinte. He's upset that I don't even recognize the name. Somehow
that dream made a big impression on me. It sounded like Alquinte
could mean something in Spanish. Although I didn't find the exact
word in the dictionary, there were many interesting associations,
for example to alchemy, but also to music. I liked the word very
much.
So, here she is: Alquinte! Have a look:

ED: Are you still keeping the Dream Journal site?
HB: Yes, I've always considered the Alchera dream software
important enough to give it its own place. Alchera will remain
online at:

The Dream Magician
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
TARAWAITH offers "MAGICIAN WISDOM" Tune in with Nature, fabric of
the Universe, thus unbind yourself
My dream cards each had their own agenda on how they wished to
enter into my world and Tarawaithe, Magician of Dreams, was no
exception. This androgynous character emerged with great
enthusiasm, not from a night dream, but from a meditative inner
dialogue session
a type of Active Imagination that Jung was so
fond of.
But first a little background where this meeting took place in
outer reality. On Samhain, October 31, 1997, Noreen hiked down to
her magnificent "Grandfather Oak Tree' deep in her 6 acre of
woods. While meditating and leaning against Grandfather's immense
trunk it came to her to ask for an ANCESTOR to communicate with.
Tarawaithe told Noreen in a dialogue that his/her and that s/he
was of Icelandic and Turkish parents. Tarawaithe said "I am the
Magician of Dreams and an artisan of fine fabrics and designs. I
make beautiful garments of fur, bone, precious stones and anything
of nature that asks to be included. I can help you to be more
daring and spontaneously YOU in your dreams and in your art if you
want. You are ready to unbind some bindings. Loose them with
'drumming of purpose.'"
Have in your mind before each drum time "I WANT YOU TO UNBIND ME"
and let'r rip.
Noreen reports "Then as I lay against the tree, I felt the strong
urge to sketch this ancestory, seeing then Tarawaithe, who now
feels a friend of mine forever. "

An Excerpt From the Lucid Dream Exchange
Lucy Gillis
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
On occasion, the LDE features book reviews of lucid dream related
books.
This month, Katie - an accomplished lucid dreamer herself - shares
her views of Olga Kharitidi's book, "Master of Lucid Dreams":
Book Review
By Katie
Master Of Lucid Dreams
by Olga Kharitidi, MD
Hampton Roads Publishing, 2001
I've been having lucid dreams all my life, so they seem wonderful
but natural to me. I was astonished in my early 20's to come
across one of Stephen LaBerge's books about lucid dreaming and
find out that it was a recognized and studied phenomenon. I had
the privilege of volunteering with the "oneironauts" for a while,
trying out some of the masks, participating in the experiments.
Great fun, amazing to hear other people's experience and carry
their curiosity and enthusiasm into my next LD.
Kharitidi's book is about as far from the sleep labs of Stanford
as you can get: don't let the "MD" fool you into thinking
otherwise. Khartidi is a practicing psychiatrist; the subtitle of
this book is "In the heart of Asia, a Russian psychiatrist learns
how to heal the spirits of trauma". Kharitidi relates the story
of her guided shamanistic enlightenment about human trauma and
the use of lucid dreaming to resolve it. She brings this learning
back to her psychiatric practice and gives us one example of a
woman already trained in trance states and psychotherapy who
hears Kharatidi's story and releases herself from the psych ward
to go home and have a complete healing within a couple of hours.
(I work at a psychiatric facility and am "professionally"
skeptical of 2 hour cures.).
And yet... the book had a pretty strong impact on me. My belief
about dreams is that they encompass every label ever applied to
them, from the meaningless firing of neurons in the brain, to
Freud's almost as meaningless day residue, to a brain function
that helps build experience into memory and learning, to a kind
of psychological mirror, to as far out as you want to go on the
spiritual side. I've had such varied and amazing dreams in my life
that I place dreams in the same category as religion: It's too
profound a subject for anyone to comprehend completely, and
anyone who believes they have divine truth does -- have part of
it. Like the elephant and the blind men, whatever bit we're able
to grasp and comprehend is true, but incomplete.
So I enjoyed Khartidi's book a lot; part of it rang quite "true"
to me; others I rejected. But that's just my piece of the
elephant. If you're looking for a read on lucidity from a
shamanistic standpoint (what Jung would call "neuroses", where
energy is "stuck" by an event; the author would refer to "memory
demons"), this book will interest you. If your interest in
lucidity is more based in brain function, probably not. If
psychological integration is what you believe lucidity can help
develop, maybe, maybe not. A reference point may be the books of
Robert Moss -- if you've read him and found him worthwhile you
may like this book; and the opposite may hold true as well.

I Ching, Tarot, Star+Gate And Dreams
© 2003 Linda Lane Magallón
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
There are a variety of tools on the market that you can use to
reveal the hidden side of things, but the ones I've found most
useful for dream inquiry are I Ching, the Rider-Waite Tarot and
Star+Gate.
The best beginner's tool is the Star+Gate card deck, by Richard H.
Geer (Orinda, CA: Star+Gate Enterprises, 1984). The images are
simple and easy to comprehend, plus there are helpful hints for
interpretation on the reverse of each card. For instance, a
picture of "The Stone" is backed by the words "Steadfastness" and
"Integrity."
Even though they are more popular, I don't recommend Tarot cards
for the first time explorer. The images are so complex, that when
you begin to work with them, you must lean heavily upon someone
else to interpret the cards for you. To read the Rider-Waite deck,
I use *A Feminist Tarot* by Sally Gearhart and Susan Rennie
(Boston: Alyson Publications, 1981). It's a well-worn book that
I've supplemented with plenty of my own notation so that I never
depend on it entirely. I treat it as a source of inspiration, not
a dogmatic decree.
There's also plenty of room to write notes in R. L. Wing's *The I
Ching Workbook* (Garden City, NY: Doubleday, 1979). In fact, Wing
encourages it. The more you work with each tool, and compare
written notes accumulated over time, the more you come to
understand your own unique dream language.
I Ching
"What did soaring mean in my dream?" I wondered, throwing 3
pennies and recording whether they fell as heads or tails. I was
consulting the I Ching to ask about my first high flying dream.
The results formed the hexagram "Repair." Following the
instructions, I changed the hexagram to "Potential Energy."
My dream had been a joyful flight, with the colors of the blue
sky, green fields and pink buildings below bright and clear.
Acting in the traditional Super Hero role, I had flown a young boy
to a hospital. As a high flyer, I was an agent of change and
repair. According to the I Ching, the emphasis was on the
potential energy of flying being rising from a healing pursuit.
High flying is healthy, it seemed to say.
"Why couldn't I attain greater height?" I asked the workbook a
year later, about a dream in which I was slow and low to the
ground.
The I Ching advised, "It is best now to develop a continuous
caution and inner strength...Through intense awareness you gain in
security and need not fear difficulties." I read this as a call to
develop lucid dreaming in order to overcome the drag in dream
flight. I heeded that advice.
Star+Gate
I switched to Star+Gate when I had a dream about a group of people
in a stadium. I had the feeling that I had to support them; they
couldn't fly on their own. I grabbed a couple of men by the
buttocks and flew them over to the stands where the audience burst
into applause. Evidently the dream was a pun. The Star+Gate cards
said the issue for me was the "condition of resting on one's
laurels; being afraid to go forward." The resolution or new focus
was being "courageous and adventurous."
I don't limit my inquires to regular picture dreams. Once I asked
about a phrase that I'd heard a voice say in the hypnogogic state.
The Star+Gate suggested that my new focus was "redirecting energy
to bring change" and "the challenge of decision making." The
energy of change, I'd known from previous dreams, but the emphasis
on decision making was new.
Later that year, I had a dream in which I climbed a wire mesh
fence, but in such an agile manner that I actually levitated a
couple of inches above each foothold. As I laid out the Star+Gate
cards in the manner that had been recommended, I wrote down each
of their meanings. Finally, I found myself writing "Reach a
conclusion, then follow it until you form a new conclusion. Follow
the trail. Trust your instinct as to which path to choose." Then I
sketched this "trail" of suggestions. The path on the paper looked
just like a decision matrix! So I figured the dream was saying,
that reaching decisions helps me climb the path to greater and
greater heights, whereas letting go of worries and concerns means
I can levitate. Note that the path of decision making is the path
of free will choices, not a fated card layout.
Because I wrote down my responses and put them in a binder, I
could discover such recurring themes. Change and decision making,
skill building and repair were common associations with the symbol
of flight.
Tarot
Getting airborne is never guaranteed, no matter how long I've been
flying in my dreams. Try as I might, there are times when I
experience lulls and lack of lift. I want to know why: to find out
what's deterring me and seek suggestions for release.
For this inquiry, I selected 4 Tarot cards to represent reasons
why I couldn't fly. Then I selected 4 more cards to resolve the
issues at hand. Symbolically, the number "4" refers to the 4
elements or 4 directions. Practically speaking, I wanted a balance
view of the situation. For me, flying is about keeping the balance
between seeming polarities. It's a sort of mental discipline, a
kind of "dream air-obics."
* The Issues (and elements)
1. Page of Wands, reversed (Air)
Lack of verbal power. Frustration at having important ideas, but
being unable to articulate them.
2. 6 of Pentacles, reversed (Earth)
Lack of cultural support, having to beg to be nurtured. No ready
audience for my verbal or written expression. Lack of
encouragement from the dream community.
3. 9 of Swords (Water)
Nightmares, fear and doubt. Recurring depression and angst
clouding the fair skies needed for clear take-off and easy
navigation.
4. Knight of Swords (Fire)
Fierce heroic action without staying power. My fatigue factor:
running out of energy before the end of the day, a chronic
problem.
* The Resolutions (and eventual actions)
1. 9 of Pentacles
Solitary creativity in a safe universe. Concentrating on personal
expression in my own backyard. (I directed focus away from
presenting at conferences and towards creating a web site for
flying dreams.)
2. The Tower
Overthrowing false consciousness. (I've been using cognitive
therapy to change beliefs that hinder or are no longer appropriate
for my current life.)
3. Ace of Wands
The beginning of adventure. Giving up the passive feminine in
favor of the active female. Treating the subject as a hero's
journey. (After seeking models in old myths, I returned to science
fiction and comic books. The idea of an active flying female is
extremely rare, in historical terms. It's a future-forward
perspective of human potential.)
4. 7 of Wands
Taking a stand. Victory through sustained effort. (The struggle
for balance in my dream life doesn't end, but I manage to get the
upper hand by developing better control of negative forces.)
Tarot and Star+Gate
At another time when I was feeling especially discouraged, I
wondered why I should bother expending so much effort trying to
fly. What was my motivation for continuing the struggle? I went to
both the Tarot and to the Star+Gate cards for answers.
>From the Tarot deck I selected only one card. This time, it
wasn't a game of chance. I turned the cards over so I could see
the pictures. Then shuffled through them until I came upon an
image that seemed to speak to the issue. This practice shifts the
focus of inquiry from happenstance to directed will power. It's an
affirmation of the opportunities for decision making.
* The Magician
** Creative will power. (Quite appropriate for this sort of
approach.)
** A synthesis of polarities. Bringing the inside out and the
outside in. (Reciprocal energy flow. I help the dream; the dream
helps me.)
** The connectiveness of the 4 elements. (Achieving balance in
waking and sleeping life.)
** Advocate for the future. (The real fruits may lie ahead.)
Then I went to the Star+Gate to select a card for comparison.
+ The Token (The overall issue. A repeat of the theme of
reciprocity: I get a gift; I give a gift.)
Since the single Star+Gate card had brought my attention back to
the 4 elements, I decided to look at the gifts of flight from all
of those perspectives. I selected 2 cards each.
1) Fire
The Candle and The Butterfly. (Enlightened fascination and the
birth of new consciousness. Flying dreams are often peak
experiences in and of themselves.)
2) Water
The Child and The Star of Laugh. (Discovering new potentials,
inner attributes and externalizing them. Especial emphasis on
humor and play. Unlike many other dreams topics, flying dreams are
usually fun and upbeat, a decided advantage while sleeping and
upon awakening.)
3) Earth
The Mud and The Harp. (Creative products and ideas plus musical
harmony. Flying dreams have provided inspiration for my creative
dream journals and picture collages. I sometimes use music to
incubate flying dreams and, even if I don't fly, I might get
musical dreams, which are also quite uplifting.)
4) Air
The Eye and The Star of Discovery. (Seeing and exploring, like
Alice in Wonderland. A reminder that flying dreams often lead to
lucidity. But even if they don't, my dreaming self is far more
active and superheroic in her magical world, when she knows she
can fly.)
Seen together, I was reminded that flying is very beneficial, from
a number of points of view!
The Dream's Opinion of Inquiry Tools
One night, after playing with the Tarot deck, I had a dream in
which I was flying above a valley. I knew the people below could
see me and thought that they might think I was some kind of witch.
Tree branches began to appear, suspended in the sky. They were
barren except for a few leaves each. I grabbed a couple of the
branches and extended both hands so it would appear to those below
that I was using the branches as wings. But I knew I could really
fly without them.
I've discovered that it's important to check your dreams to find
out when to *stop* using a particular method. I recognized the
tree branches as the suit of Wands: straight, staff-like branches
with just a few leaves each. The dream was telling me that, yes, I
could use the Tarot deck as a technique to interpret dreams, but I
really didn't need it.
Do you know the best method to interpret your dreams? Your dreams!
Who else knows what they really mean? So I suggest that if you
think you understand, ask for another dream to comment on your
waking state conclusion. You might be surprised to know what your
dreaming self has to say. Inquiry tools can be great fun. But, in
the end, the dream comes first.

A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE
Jean Campbell
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o
This month's View from the Bridge is a connected series of reports
from various members of the Peace Bridge group.
A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE
November 2003
Jean Campbell
For anyone who doubts that people dream together, and that
possibly we are dreaming the world into existence, the collected
dreams from this month on the Peace Bridge can be viewed as a
study in collective consciousness. Filled with astronomical
phenomena, November has been a busy month of dreams, culminating
in the DaFuMu dreaming for the people of Istanbul. I have
appended a collection of the Istanbul dreams at the end of this
article, but at least a brief commentary on other events of the
month seems important as well.
November 8, 2003 Because this was the day of the Harmonic
Convergence and a full moon full lunar eclipse, it was the day
selected for the annual ASD Dream In and a kickoff to the yearly
Pledge Campaign. Many members of the Peace Bridge were prepared
to participate in the Dream In (which was also Chayim's birthday).
On the day before this event, Ilkin sent a message to the Bridge
discussion group: "Pray for Moonlight."
As it turned out, Moonlight is the English translation of the name
of a young Turkish woman who had been unable to see clearly from
birth. With Ilkin's assistance, she received surgery, and with
the healing prayers of the group, she has now recovered full
sightedness. In a dream three days before this, Ilkin reported
that she had seen a car go by with a woman handcuffed in it, being
held by two men. "I am trying to speak and persuade the men to
free the woman," Ilkin wrote. "I am giving them whatever I have
valuable on me to free the woman." Moonlight also dreamed the
night before the surgery. She assured Ilkin that she knew
everything would be okay because she saw in her dream that she was
climbing a hill and reaching the top.
This event prompted Victoria to suggest that World Dreams people
create art for Moonlight to see, and also prompted the quote from
Mary, "One less act of violence against a woman on Earth is one
step closer to peace."
November 15, 2003 In Victoria, Australia, Nick and Victoria
continued a series of Peace Train Workshops they have been doing
with young people there. Victoria wrote that on the train,
returning from the workshop, she and her children, Emily and
Blake, met a Chinese grandmother with her two grandchildren. "The
children ended up having lots of fun on the way," Victoria wrote,
"because I still had extra bottles of bubbles to blow. There were
many 'no' signs - 'no feet on seats' 'no fare evasion' 'no this';
'no that' but nothing that said 'no bubble blowing.'" Victoria
also created a page of workshop photos on her website, which can
be viewed at
http://www.alphalink.com.au/~mermaid/pipsters_oct03.html
Nick has also been hard at work, with the assistance of other
Peace Bridge members on the new Peacetraining web site,
www.peacetraining.org which will allow people a much fuller access
to some of the many ideas for creating Peace Trains. The Peace
Train Project grew from a dream which Jeremy Seligson dreamed in
Korea last year, and since that time Peace Trains have been
spreading around the world.
November 16, 2003 Since October, at the suggestion of Ilkin,
Kathy from Australia, and others, members of the Peace Bridge
discussion group had been planning to participate in the Day of
Tolerance promoted by UNESCO. The group had agreed to dream
together and to invite others to dream with us, as well as to
light candles for peace.
On that Day, in Cincinnati, Jody and her husband Terry had invited
many people to join in a friendship walk at the International
Friendship Park by the Riverwalk on the Ohio River. Before the
day was out, however, a tragedy occurred in Istanbul. Terrorists
bombed two synagogues there, killing and maiming many people.
From Germany, Ralf immediately sent his condolences to Ilkin and
others on the Bridge, prompting from Chayim a post with the
subject line, "Just Another Bombing/Pass the Popcorn". These
events elicited a busy round of discussion about the meaning of
peace and the meaning of tolerance. The International Day of
Tolerance brought up far more than anyone expected.
Nonetheless, when Jody wrote of the Riverwalk event, she said:
"About 35-40 people gathered, black, white, brown, Asian. Many
people discovered connections to others there even though they
learned about the event from different avenues. My most riveting
image of the afternoon, a gray misty one by the river which was
glassy and silver looking, great barges slowly moving by was this:
two young Vietnamese children came with their American mother, one
of them was Zoe, 6 years old with missing front teeth and an earth
shaking smile. Zoe was dressed in a bright red velvet shirt with
her name Zoe embroidered across the front. She jumped and skipped
and then with profound seriousness asked to know what tolerance
means. She also got down on her knees on the circles in the paved
walk where symbols of pairs of open
hands joined and made a symbolic ring of friendship. She sailed
three seed pod boats in the little pools of rain water that had
collected in these circles, sailing her boats between Jewish,
Christian, Muslim, Native American, African, Chinese, Japanese,
and other symbols in these circles."
And Ilkin pointed out that the victims of the tragedy in Istanbul-
-Muslims, Christians, Jews--were all being buried as martyrs, and
that the city, where people of different faiths have long lived in
peace, would build a monument to Tolerance.
November 20, 2003 Finally, on Thursday, November 20, I woke very
early, before 5a.m. my time. As usual, I went to my computer to
see read the emails that might have come in overnight from the
Peace Bridge. Because the group spans the world, someone is
always awake. I immediately found a message from Ilkin, saying
that bombs were exploding again. Four terrorist bombs were
exploded that day in populated areas of the city of Istanbul.
Ilkin's twin sons lost a friend of theirs, a young girl who died
in the hospital near midnight. Many others were killed and
hundreds wounded. What could we do? Early on Thursday, I sent a
message to the Bridge and to other dream groups online, asking
that we do a DaFuMu Dreaming that night for the people of
Istanbul. The night happened to be the Muslim festival of Quadr,
when angels are said to come to earth. Here are the collected
dreams from that night:
Dear DaFuMu Dreamers,
I would like to share with you a most extraordinary series of
dreams, which I have compiled from the dreams sent to The World
Dreams Peace Bridge, the ASD psi dreaming group, and the ASD dream
activism group since my request on Thursday for a DaFuMu dreaming
for the people of Istanbul. Because these dreams were sent to
many different venues, I wanted to collect them all in one place.
I have also sent the dreams to some others (in some cases, people
who appeared in the dreams), because I thought they would be
interested. I know that this is a long document, but I hope that
you will read it through to the end.
Thank you, and DaFuMu!
Jean
Dear Dreamers,
I wanted to share the dream I had last night. Yesterday, when I
was sending out requests for the DaFuMu dreaming, I sent a message
to Yvonne Baez in Mexico City, because even though she has not
been active on the Bridge lately, I knew she would want to be
involved in this. So here's my dream.
An Angel Over Istanbul
When the dream begins, I am sitting in the dining room of a big
house where ASD is having a workshop. Yvonne and I are sitting
cross legged on the floor, facing one another. I am explaining to
her about permeable and impermeable boundaries in dreams. That
is, what I'm talking about with her is the idea that, even though
we are dreaming, there are certain personal boundaries that we
would not want to cross, those having to do with our deepest
feelings.
Then, just like we are having a slumber party, all of the people
in the house lie down on the floor to go to sleep.
We are wakened not long after that by Alan Siegel and Bob Hoss
coming in the front door. They begin stumbling over people, so
they turn on the lights, including the lights that are right over
my head. I say, "Turn out the lights!" But they pay no attention
to me, and soon everyone is awake and up again.
In the next scene in the dream, we are flying in a helicopter that
Bob is piloting. We are flying across a bay with a beautiful
bridge spanning it (the Bosporus Bridge) and gaining altitude. I
say to Bob, "I thought you put this away" (meaning the
helicopter), but he nods and looks out the wrap around glass at
the front of the helicopter. I look to my right. We are still
gaining altitude, and ahead of us there is a convoy of six or
eight helicopters, flying way ahead of us. I am worried that they
are US helicopters getting ready to bomb someone. Then I look to
my left, and see a winged figure backwinging to alight on the land
below. At first I think it is an eagle, the US eagle, and I'm
afraid again. But then I realize that it is an angel. Bob
smiles. EOD
I guess there is no need for me to interpret this one, huh? My
Self said, when I was writing this dream in my journal this
morning, "There are angels watching over all of you."
Love to all of you World Dreamers. Yvonne, I'm glad you joined us
:)) I hope that the angels descend en masse on Istanbul for
Quadr.
Jean
Jean,
I did have an unusual dream last night after wishing to
have a helpful dream for Turkey as I was falling asleep.
The dream:
We had a special painting on the wall created by Gordon
Michael Scallion (best known for his predictions of earth
changes), and Gordon was arriving to visit. As I was going to meet
him I looked out the back patio door and a huge wind was blowing
the large tree outside. A great part of the tree broke off into
the neighbor's yard. Thank goodness it did not hurt their house.
Then the second part of the tree went down frontways between our
two houses, again avoiding damage to either one. I could now see
the sky in a way I had not been able to before, when the tree was
in the way.
I went outside to examine the part of the trunk which
had landed between the two houses. It got up and STARTED WALKING
like roughly the shape of a deer but still in the form of tree
trunks (hard to describe). I looked at the end of one of the
"legs" and saw a brown leg inside of the tree wood. Then it
followed me in the house in the form of a large dog. I was so
happy and excited that it was alive I could hardly talk. I called
it "Magic." I couldn't decide whether to try to peel the bark off
or leave it the way it was and woke up with a "numinous" feel.
I have not had a dream of transformation or a dream
with this sort of magical feel in a very long time. What I derive
from it, since the intention was to dream of Turkey and peace in
the region, is that while there is some destruction, it doesn't
cause as much harm as it could have caused and some unusual form
of new life emerges from the destruction - a kind of death/rebirth
scenario. It is not something I could have consciously made up or
imagined and I do feel it was a message.
In
Peace, Val Bigelow
I wasn't planning to share this dream from last night since it,
too, didn't seem to have much to do with the situation in Turkey,
but after Val's dream I do have to share it!
My wife and I are driving north to Vermont, where we will camp out
near Mt. Mansfield (the highest mountain in the state). By the
time we cross the border into New Hampshire it is late afternoon,
and we still have a long way to go. My wife complains that we
will not make it to the campsite by nightfall and suggests that we
turn back. However, I insist on continuing on. When we arrive,
it is 10:00 at night. We set up camp behind a log cabin
structure. Others there are prepared to help me construct a small
log cabin of our own. Just then, a huge white birch tree, maybe 1
foot in diameter, keels over and crashes to the ground, diagonal
to where I was planning to put the log cabin. No one was in the
way, so there are no injuries. I consider using the birch wood,
but I find that it is punky and rotten. I will use other logs
instead.
The image I had in mind before going to bed was of the Blue Mosque
of Istanbul (formerly Hagia Sophia), with its minarets. The birch
tree did resemble a minaret. Perhaps there is something here
about the need for the fundamentalist branches of the major
religions (Muslim, Christian, Jewish, whatever) to fall because
they are rotten to the core, before a new and suitable structure
can be built for humankind (man's field) to live in?
Curt
Wow, Curtis, another fallen tree!! Now I'm sure we are getting a
message.
The tree fall but no one is hurt - that happens in both the
dreams. One tree is rotten, the other has "magic" new life inside
it. I think overall we are receiving very hopeful images in spite
of what looks like destruction.
Val
Jean
I don't have
clear recall about the setting of my dreaming last
night, but I feel sure that they included discussions of
boundaries.. and the need to understand and express them before
becoming angry.
Victoria
Dear Dreamers,
I am immensely impressed by the quality of the dreamwork evident
in your postings! Your interpretations would seem to be very well
informed by your familiarity with the symbolic language.
Allow me to bring a dream of similar theme to your attention.
I was in a movie theater watching a film about terrible inhuman
acts taking place during a contemporary war of destabilization and
domination conducted by the U.S. via proxy terrorists. Suddenly
the same proxy army in the film began entering the theater from
behind the audience and started shooting us.
It was then that I realized the dramatic or "movie-like" nature of
what we call reality; i.e., we are involved in a small game which
is part of a larger game we have forgotten about. I knew I was
given this dream by entities who cared enough to attempt to ease
my anguish for the fates of those who suffer at the hands of
unconscious humanity.
This does not mean we should blithely accept injustice because it
is "merely" a movie in which the dead players arise at the end of
the production and go on with the "bigger" game. The pain is very
real. I believe we must participate in the creation of a better
structure, the "temple not made with hands", even as we witness
the tearing down of the old structures to make room for the new.
It is a labor most literally of love.
Blessings on your important work,
Geoff
I hope to hear from Ilkin.
I thought I didn't dream much that was helpful, but on reflection
I suppose this is a dream of peace and of DaFuMu perhaps as well.
I dreamed I found myself (with no preparation) teaching a session
called "The Art of Quiet." Evidently it was meant to be "art" in
the sense of visual arts, as the participants were sitting on the
floor with drawing supplies, looking at me expectantly. First I
tossed them all the pillows from my bed to sit on (I have a lot of
pillows), then I suggested they each in turn call out whatever
visual image of "quiet" came to their minds: "A snowy field." "A
sleeping child." "The inside of a church, by candlelight." Then
after two or three times around the room, I planned to suggest
that they each take two or more images of their choosing - their
own or anyone else's - and juxtapose them collage-like in a single
drawing.
Perhaps Jean would be so kind as to forward this to the
WorldDreamers, and if any WorldDreamers contributed to this DaFuMu
I hope you will forward your dreams to the PsiDreamers for us to
see.
Love,
Joy
I had a dream last night I was going on a cruise to Mexico. Me
and a few girls, one of whom was pregnant and due any time, were
going to go. We set a date, but then changed it to a few weeks
earlier because the price went down and because it didn't coincide
with the due date. Time to leave we were in a van to be driven to
the docks. Steve Smith in the front passenger seat. The driver
was driving fast down this curvy hill. I had to close my eyes and
just not think about tipping over. Steve said 'yes that is
better'. We got there. Some man announced 'and guess what, you
are getting on the boat named Dream'. We got in and we had inner
cabins (some of the ladies were complaining about this, I was just
glad I was going). We sat in these very comfortable chairs. EOD
Dear Jean and all dreamers who dreamed for us and peace for all
the world....
Jean what a beautiful dream for us. Although people are acting as
they don't affected and go on to normal life psychologists and
other experts are warning on TV's etc that we may have a social
post traumatic syndrome. They even opened some university's
psychology departments for free and a phone call line. I
personally realized that I want to sleep all day and thought it
may be because of trying to find a way not to think. Tonight there
was candles on many windows and at 18.00pm everybody turned on and
of their lights for a time as a common signal. Tomarrow there will
be a "Sound of silence against the sound of violance" protest all
over the county. People will gather in all cities and walk in
silence. The NGO's and all kind of labour and professional
organisations will lead the protests with the slogan of "We don't
have bombs, guns or bullets; we have our hearts". One side of me
gets furious time to time and one side of me gets proud of my
people's behavior. This is not the first time we are witnessing
terrorism but maybe the most ......(I can't find the word). During
the last 10-15 years more than 30.000 people died in this country
but at least there was a braveness in those deaths, there was a
fight. The most disgusting part of this last events is it's
cowardice. Murdering and wounding hudreds of people in such a
coward way is another thing which we can not understand easily in
our culture. Even in our villages where there are blood feud
(vendetta) to fire somebody from his /her back is accepted as
cowardice and such people can never find respect in their lifes.
In fact these stupid, nihilist, radical, terrorists (i can coun't
thousands of words) are not aware that they have turned their gun
to themselfs by these bombings. They can't even call themselfs as
muslim in this country anymore after killing so many in this way
and this sacred time. Today the newspapers head lines was as "El
Katil". "Katil" means "murderer" in Turkish and for Turkey, "El
Quayda" or any of these groups name is "El Katil" after now.
Dear Jean, Kathy, Ralf, Victoria, Joy and all who prayed and
dreamed for us, thank you all. It is believed in Islam that
tonight is the sacred night which God sends all His angels to the
world, listen all the prayers and forgive the sins. I was outside
a little while ago. It was really as a somehow different, mystic,
magical night. There was a mist (fog?) on the ground as white
clouds has landed on the earth. It was hard to see the houses
around but the sky was so clear and full of stars. I watched the
mist on the ground and the stars at the sky for a long time and
think about the universe. I thought how little we are, how
unimportant what we lived, how far away to those stars but still
how close we are. And for a minute I had a strange feeling
thinking if that mist can be to hide the angels around. Maybe you
were also there Jean, with your angel. After so long years of
atheism, I was just begining to believe that there must be a great
creator and these bombings made me question that creator again.
Maybe I mus not question but these are tests we have to take.
Well, in short thank you all for thinking us.
Oh, my dream...I can remember only one dream from the last 5-6
days and I wish it doesn't mean there is a hindred years of
loneliness waiting us but peace;
"I am staying in a one roomed ground floor place with my husband
and children. It is up a hill facing the Asia part of the city and
the sea. It up to the site of houses I am living now. There is a
recluse old man living in the room near us. He is making spiced
nuts and ruffles in his style and sell them. He is the grand son
of Gabriel Garcia Marquez (or himself). He is reading me poems and
I am telling him he is as successful as his grandfather (and
thinking he is too old to be the grandson) and he must publish his
work instead of making these spiced nuts etc. He is answering me
it is so hard to get in front of "A hundred years of Solitude". He
is helping me too much and I am happy having him as a neighbor.
There are many shops around. I am seeing that they are selling
very qualified stuff in spite of the poor neighborhood. Beginning
just in front of my house there is a luxury site of houses as
mine. I am thinking I can sell mine and can move to one of these
houses. At a corner of the neighborhood there is a place where
they put their rubbish. While I am looking at the rubbish one of
the daughters of the woman who is working for me is bringing me a
weird bouquet of flowers. It is very much embodied with colorful
laces and the flowers are sitting in the middle of an old silver
vase. I am telling the girl to pull the flowers so I can see the
vase. She is pulling the flowers but throwing them into the
rubbish before I can say anything. I am telling her that flowers
are as valuable as the vase and I am going to put them back in the
vase after having a look. She is trying to get them out of the
rubbish but we are seeing that the flowers are not fresh but
dried. I am taking the flowers anyway. We are meeting with her
mother, where she came to visit me in the one roomed place. I am
telling her about my moving plans and we are walking towards my
real house. When I am coming to the house I am seeing that my
neighbors are there to visit me. We are at a floor dawn the top.
One of them says she have to go to bathroom and I am telling her
to go to the one 2 floors dawn. The woman working for me is
warning me that she didn't clean there yet I am calling behind my
neighbor to go to the one at the top floor but she is not hearing
me. I am getting very angry to the woman working in the house,
saying she had been lazy when I was away and didn't keep the house
clean. She gets ashamed and says she was having problems. My
neighbor is coming out of the bathroom disgusted and I am
apologizing from her, saying I had called after her to use the one
at the top floor. She is answering me that not only the bathroom
but all the rooms she passed was in a mess. I am thinking that
this neighbor is not worth to speak or to explain that some times
a house can be a mess because of some reasons, she is too material
and I prefer old Marquez reading me poems as a neighbor and living
in a one roomed little house."
Well; I think no need to interpret but believe Jean's angel will
help to overcome the mess we are in and accept to be in a mess for
now. And anyway, what a wonderful thing to have a neighbor as
Marquez, reading you poems; what can I want more....
Love you all- Ilkin
This is amazing Victoria;
You must be all reaching to us. I am feeling myself so happy and
lucky having you dreamers. You already knew we will have a " Sound
of silence against the sound of violance" protest tomarrow. I am
sure you will be walking with us in Istanbul and all over the
Turkey tomarrow. I will think you all in my silence. Love and
hugs- Ilkin
Jean
I don't have clear recall about the setting of my dreaming last
night, but I feel sure that the included discussions of
boundaries..
and the need to understand and express them before becoming angry.
Victoria
Joy and Victoria and all;
And this is one of the two poems I wrote to World Dreams Peace
Bridge 2 days before; third the line is "Silence All over the
earth". There was no protest plan yet when I wrote this poem. -
Ilkin
GRAVE QUESTION
The west wind soared high as the mountains
Spreading
Silence All over the earth
Why say the dead shiver?
Have you ever slept the sleep of death?
In the forest syllable by syllable
Leaves gave you the mighty darkness.
Your body stood Night by night beyond beauty.
Why say dreams are white?
Have you ever slept the sleep of death?
Shadows grew into the winds.
Brooks
And birds scuttled through your land.
Desolate lay the village road. Why say your loved ones are gone?
Have you ever slept the sleep of death?
(F.H.Daglarca)
Dear Dreamers,
This is Yvonne, from Mexico. It's been a while... but the
Istambul bombing brought me back to pray -and dream- for peace.
(Thanks Jean).
First of all, Ilkin, I send you and your family all my love, from
the other side of the world. When Jean invited me to participate
in this Da Fu Mu dreaming, I gladly accepted. But when I went to
bed, though, my husband was watching "Gladiator" that was showing
on the TV, and I fell asleep, without noticing it, nor making my
intention for the DaFuMu dreaming. Two hours later, my husband
was asleep, too and suddenly "something" woke me up, and felt
Jean's presence right in front of me, and thought "Oh my God! I
totally forgot about it! Right away I concentrated, put my
thinking into Peace and Love to percieve that energy, and get
"connected" to send it all around the world. The only thing I
remember seeing before I fell asleep again was a HUGE 5 point star
covering the sky.
A while ago, when I was able to turn on my computer, and read the
messages... clearly realized how Jean had come to my dreaming
boundaries to remind me about the dreaming...
The wierdest thing was that five minutes after I read Jean´s
dream, a helicopter passed over my home roof... That has never
happened this late at night! Call it synchronicity, if you want,
or was it Jean's angel who came to visit?
I would like to share another dream I had no long ago (November
7), that has to do with BELIEVING and making out of this world,
what we wish -or dream- about:
I am in a swimming pool with a friend . (Her name is Mali, and has
been very spiritual all her life. But lately, she has had a lot
of doubts and disbeliefs with all that is taking place in the
world. I must confess I have been through this misbelief myself
lately). In the dream, though, I ask her how couldn´t she
believe, when we are having so many proofs around us. Before I
finish saying that, many dolphins start swimming around us,
touching us, etc
I am even able to hug a little one. My friend,
though, who is just next to me, can´t see them. Then, I turn up
to see the sky. It is very, very
cloudy, with this enormous Cumulus type clouds. But suddenly, the
clouds start taking shapes of big Angels all around! I tell my
friend "Look up to the sky! There are many angels above us!!!!"
She looks up, but sees nothing! EOD
I came up to the conclusion that what we BELIEVE is what matters
the most! If we believe in a world of Peace, sooner or later so it
be. If we get "hooked" to the war, terrorists and hatred, so our
world be...
Well, fellow dreamers, that is all for now. Better go to bed... I
will have a pretty busy weekend. Hope to be back in touch on
Monday.
Dreaming you,
Yvonne

The Waves: 08. Psychedelic Dreaming
Electric Moon (September 20 to October 17, 2003)

The Waves is a newsletter reporting on the explorations of the Sea
Life community. Sea Life, the main web forum at Dreampeace, aims
to bring together a circle of dreamers from around the globe,
collaborating in mutual dreaming adventures, and 'dreaming with
and for the earth itself'
Link: http://www.dreamofpeace.net/sealife
This moon, the people at Sea Life, completed a 'Psychedelic
Dreaming' project, in which we aimed to learn about whether or not
it were possible to take psychedelics within a dream, and if so
what effects the experience might have. We focused our interest on
three of earth's natural bounty of psychoactive plants; namely
peyote (mescaline), psilocybian mushrooms (magic mushrooms), and
Salvia Divinorum (diviner's sage).
Taking psychedelics within a dream obviously has some interesting
advantages. For one thing, it gives us the opportunity to
experiment freely without the concern of breaking the law or
causing serious health damage. For another, it demonstrates the
true power of the mind and it's potential to experience altered
states of consciousness without the need for sacraments.
An interesting avenue of exploration involved determining whether
or not these experiences were based purely on subconscious
expectations, or if it were possible to interact with the spirit
of psychoactive plants directly through the dream state. Some of
the dreamers at the forum, were concerned about the idea of
actually intoxicating themselves with the plant through eating it
in a dream, but were more comfortable with the idea of speaking to
it directly, to learn about it's role and significance to the
earth.
Jeff, a friend from the Netherlands, had for 10 years been
researching and using extensively all sorts of psychedelics in
combination with meditation practises and an EEG machine (used to
monitor brainwaves). He turned us on to some really amazing
experiences. One involved the use of peyote, the common name for a
hallucinogenic cactus, of which Mescaline is the active principal
agent. A native to Mexico and the southwestern United States, it
has been used for centuries by Native Americans in religious
ceremonies.
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
A PEYOTE SHAMAN
"Mescaline I found very special! In one dream I met a shaman, all
dressed in plant clothes, who gave me mescaline and every time I
took a sip of the peyote drink I saw a part of my subconscious
getting unlocked. I saw explanations about why things happened the
way they had happened in my life. It was awesome!
At the end of that dream I heard such beautiful music.. it was
great! I felt so bad when I woke. I didn't want it to end.
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
In another dream, earlier in the year, I had come across a massive
collection or list of various animals and plants, with
healing/positive energies or uses. Plants have been used by human
society for healing and other purposes over hundreds and thousands
of years, so this came as no real surprise. However, what made
this all the more relevant, is that one of the plants listed was
'Salvia', of which one particular species, Salvia divinorum is
psychoactive.
"The main property of salvia divinorum is to induce flashes of REM
activity during waking but without concomittant blockade of motor
efferents. This leads to non-voluntary experiences of conscious
dreaming or pre-conscious dreaming."
http://www.shaman-australis.com/~claude/salvia2.html
Once again, Jeff had some relevant stories of his own to share
with us.
"Many people including myself had a salvia trip where you
indentified yourself with what you saw in front of you. I looked
with my right eye in a dream and didn't see the world. I thought I
was a fence around a garden and with my left eye I saw the normal
world and the dream and I laughed that my other brain part was
under narcosis. The funny thing thing is I proved with this
(through the use of the EEG machine) that you can dream with just
one brain hemisphere and not two as we do in normal REM sleep."
Finally, Z managed to pull of a piece of magnificent dreaming,
which gave us a whole new perspective on the link between
psychedelics and sea life:
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
PSYCHEDELIC OYSTERS
I am walking on a beach and enjoying the vast expanses of water as
well as the sand and the rocks that surround me. I find this shell
on the ground which I pierce open with a knife. It's some sort of
oyster. I eat it and immediately my body begins to feel awkward. I
feel as if what I have just eaten must have had some alkaloids in
it because my vision changes. I see the ocean now with dazzling
specs of light touching every inch of water. It also seems as if
the water is moving much faster than moments earlier. As if it's
in fast forward.
I continue to walk and find this grass path which seems to be
manicured and thus probably man made. I walk down it and
everything is so vibrant and glowing with energy. The track ends
at this garden which has many weeping willows in it and old
grecian statues. There are rays of light filtering through the
trees as well as droplets of water falling from the leaves, as if
it has just rained. The scene is magical, as if everything speaks
to me. In this drug induced state everything is quite
overwhelming.
------------------------------------------------------------------
----
A beautiful experience! I couldn't help wondering if Z had just
stumbled upon something otherwise undiscovered. Wouldn't it be
interesting if these psychedelic oysters actually existed! The
funny thing was only days later a fun-loving new member by the
name of 'threecaster' joined us, sharing his thoughts on a band
called 'Blue Oyster Cult'.
"I was originally told years ago (maybe I read it on the album)
that the name was based on a group of islanders who were found by
spanish sailors. These islanders had priests who would eat the
local Blue Oysters for psychedelic divinations."
I'll leave with you the words of Morpheus, which I think help
provide a bridge between exploration of the drug-induced
realities, and the world of dreaming. "I believe the usage of
these plants can help us to evolve unto greater potential. The
only danger comes from the plants becoming crutches upon which we
build that Evolutionary process rather than training wheels. My
thinking is that they should help us along the path to a higher
self, but like all 'tools' they are not meant to be carried on our
backs once we have 'crossed the river', so to speak."
------------------------------------------------------------------
Stay tuned next moon for the results of our project, 'Dreaming
with DNA'. We welcome new dreamers to join us in our adventures.

My journal records dreams I believe are preparing me for death.
It also links to dreams I had before the deaths of my parents; and
to a
page for dream interpretation.
"I am not a person who has 'psychic' dreams. I started to record
my dreams in 1988, after a therapist told me they were
meaningful. I was immediately fascinated, and shortly began to
study dreams for myself and practise my interpretations.
It was in 1995 that I had the first dream which seemed to me to
predict a future event, and that the death of one of my parents.
It was very worrying. I thought it would occur during a flight
abroad they were due to take, and consulted with certain friends
and family whether to say anything. I said nothing and they
returned safely.
My father died 3 months after that dream, but I had already
started a sequence of about 30 dreams prefiguring the death of my
mother 7 years later from cancer. I really didn't know what I
could do with these dreams other than be perpetually alert and
breathe a sigh of relief each time a few weeks passed by without
consequence. For some reason, and if not utter stupidity I
suppose it must be denial, it never really occurred to me to
suspect some stealthy underlying illness like cancer, which was
only diagnosed after she suddenly collapsed one day, 6 months
before she died.
After Mum's death I collected together the dreams and studied them
as a group. What could they tell me about my mother? And then
what could I learn about death dreams themselves?
From the beginning the dreams made references to a life after
death. It might be birds migrating, my waiting father, a wedding,
birthday, journey, a Voice from above. This was comforting, but
also interesting.
Then I noticed some of the symbols used for the spirit like bird,
cat, lion, fire, tree, flower. What was the significance of these
different forms? And then I was asking myself, How might I have
known when the end was coming? How did the dreams change from 7
years before to 10 days before? What does it all mean?
I collected my dreams and thoughts into a book I called 'The Lark
Ascending', which has still to find a publisher. It had already
occurred to me that one or two of my thirty dreams had possible
references to my own death. Then in February 2002, I had severe
chest pain. Hospital tests said I was fine, most likely a stress
reaction, and after a while I felt completely better. Needless to
say, I looked closer at my own 'death dreams' after this, one of
which had occurred just 2 days before the chest pain began.
There was nothing more to be done. Doctor said I was fine, so just
get on. Nevertheless I had a faith in my dreams and decided to
see if I could get any more information about timing from first
the IChing and then a psychic. I added the results in an appendix
to my book.
I got on with learning how to use a computer and then building a
website to accompany The Lark Ascending. As that drew to a close I
was getting dreams about not being ready for death, and so I
looked around for unfinished business. One thing I hadn't done
was collect together the dreams relating to my own death, which
were all mixed in with other dreams in my dream book. At this
time Apple offered its users a free weblog, and this seemed the
perfect way to present the dreams on the web.
So that is what I'm doing. It is quite bizarre in a way to be
calmly plotting the dreams which seem to point to my death. But
any number of people with mortal illnesses or advancing years
must equally prepare themselves for the moment in their own ways.
And as timing is not a strong point of dreams of this type, I
might happily be noting down my death dreams well into old age! I
don't think I will be, but who knows? And that is the wider point
of my weblog. Whether I should die early or late, here is a piece
of live data, which will provide some useful evidence on the
subject."

Dream: Child of Darkness
o|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|+|o

DREAM : child of darkness
=( yesterday was thanksgiving. my friend julius came over for
dinner, while i prepared the traditional turkey. he left around
21:30 and i put the first episode of _upstairs downstairs_ on the
video for mother to watch. it is now our tradition to begin
watching her favorite series on thanksgiving. we usually get
through the 57 episodes just after new years. i felt sleepy after
eating some much turkey, so i went to bed around 23:30 and got to
sleep within an hour. i did wake several times in the morning,
but went back to sleep since today, friday is also a holiday and i
could sleep late, hoping for a good dream for my dream journal. i
have gotten a few dreams in the last few weeks, but none very
interesting. )=
something has gone wrong with the ritual and the adept is
beginning to perspire heavily. he dare not wipe his face and much
more sweat might wash away one of the protective sigils painted
upon his face. then he would be vulnerable to the forces he has
evoked but could no longer control. the little one at his side in
the circle with him turns toward him. its smile is filled with
pointed teeth.
this small child is a mulatto: a child of the night who was
instead born into the light. it had just arrived here from one of
the prisoner of war camps from the outer regions.
during the long progress of battle it sometimes happens that a
major demon is captured. even injured these creatures are a
threat and difficult to kill outright. mobile magical squads are
required to handle such cases.
usually they set up cabalistic circle around the wounded demon to
perform the last rites of containment and cremation. the holy
light of the heavens is evoked to incinerate the disabled demon
and put it out of its misery. only then can the battle front move
on with some sense of security behind its lines.
but once in a while this process encounters a difficulty. if the
wounded demon is pregnant, the usual rituals can not be used to
extinguish two lives because the unborn is not guilty of the sins
of its parent. in such a case, the circle of containment is
established and a surgical unit is called in to extract the unborn
fetus. sometimes these MASH facilities must wait for weeks or
months until the delivery can be accomplished. this is very
tiring on the magical team which must maintain the containment
field constantly. sometimes the demon and its unborn may die of
its injuries, but just as often it may recover which amplifies the
requirements of containment.
this child had been near term and did not require a lengthy
gestation period before it could be delivered by caesarian
section. once extracted, the incineration of the dying mother was
not too difficult. the mobile surgical unit always has many
dying soldiers, and their passage to the other side makes it
comparatively easy to deflect some of the divine light onto the
demon. front lines right after a battle also have this
dimensional thinness because a large number of dying soldiers in a
small area have pierced the veil often. using the front lines or
the MASH units is thought to be a more humane method of collecting
the light of heaven than outright ritual sacrifice.
there is a problem of what to do with the still innocent infant of
demonic parentage. because of its heritage from the fallen, any
darkness will develop its natural tendencies to evil, so it is the
responsibility of the prisoner of war camps to see that these
misbegotten offspring are kept constantly in light and in
isolation from others of its kind. sunlight by day and artificial
light by night: thus a mulatto demon is raised and educated for
beneficial purposes. such children are never comfortable in the
constant light because their souls never come into focus, needing
the darkness to solidify their true essence.
a mulatto is still an unnatural child and a source of power
misdirected from its heritage. the white skin of the mulatto
which has only known light can be painted with pigments on one
side to simulate shadow. even this artificial darkness can stir
the forces contained within the child which allows a magician to
contrast and control the negative energies.
this adept, however, is having trouble. too much dark energy is
flowing within his circle. the small amount of shadow painted on
this mulatto should not have generated even half this surge of
power. how was he to know that the guards in the outland POW camp
did not understand the need of complete light and had allowed the
child of darkness a natural night?
saliva drips from the pointed teeth with anticipation of freedom
and a meal of human flesh.
=( awake at 10:54. it does not take me long to fire up my bedside
computer and begin typing this dream into the files. this was not
an easy dream to write up, harder than i thought when i began.
this is a third person dream in which i am not personally there,
just watching. and there is not much action, just the adept
waving his arms in various incantations while the white skinned
mulatto child turns toward him and grins its crooked smile with
black makeup smeared on one side of its face. all the rest of the
background material of how the wicked child had been created from
a caesarian section on a wounded mother was known to me without
actually being experienced directly. even knowing this, oddly i
do not know the gender of the mulatto child. i suspect that
demonkind may not have sexes as we understand them. )=

Subject: depressing
I have a long conversation with someones mother over the phone.
the whole time i think it is my friends mom. i tell her about my
life and that its depressing and tell her about loss. she cries
and cries. later, i go to work and am going to clock in. my
manager stops me and i realize at that moment i was talking to her
mother on the phone, not my friends. she fires me. i tell her, i
didnt know, i wouldnt have said that stuff if i knew it was her.
i am now in a sort of suv. i am in the back seat and all my
managers are in the car, driving me away. i lose it, i tell them
they dont appreciate how hard i have worked and i have done all of
this for them and they dont care about me at all etc etc and vent
about how unfair this is, that i have sacrificed my life to make
them happy and have worked extra hard, and i feel so cheated in
life at that moment. i get out of the vehicle in a parking garage
and i go to a telephone and call over to my friends house. i
leave a multitude of messages because i get the answering machine.
later i am at my friends house. i find out he moved out a year ago
and is living in another state, and i think, oh yeah, thats right,
he did move out. i go down to the basement and it is cluttered
with some of his stuff. i decide it is best to sleep there, since
it is so late. i see a phone and its blinking, i press the button
and i hear myself, the messages i left, and they are nothing but
depressing sounding, like 'hi. this is me. i just wanted to say
hi. i really need to talk to somebody right now, i wish you were
there.' i cant even remember them at this point.

Subject: my reoccuring dreams
some reoccuring dreams: it's dark outside. i'm in a place that
is a combination of cities and places i've been in life and been
in dreams. i have no idea where to go or how to get there.
usually i am on a bus and it makes stops all over and then i'm on
a ferry boat over water and have to jump to a small little boat
that is passing, and make it just in time or fall into turbulent
waters. i end up somewhere at the end of a long bridge. i wait
for a bus and it doesnt come so i end up walking and walking.
past a forever long train, this is where other people appear and
they are all foreign or its me that is foreign. sometimes i'm in
the train, but when i am, it is either in outer space or
underground. lots of small hills and sloping streets. when i go
inside a complex, it is huge, bigger than any indoor complex on
earth. also houses in dreams are forever big and i get lost
inside them and usually cant find my way back out, at least the
same way i got in. and when that happens i feel i have lost
something important about myself, such as originality or control
over my life. i wake up flustered and depressed because of this.
Other places: Places I have lived. Apartments, that I go back
and revisit (which are places I've never actually been before in
my waking life). there are a few different ones. Some are way
far back, and the lights dont work. Though I find old clothes
that I believe belong to me, though I can't remember. - I have a
few theories as to these apartment dreams but i still am unsure of
what they are all about. apartments are in: remote places. cold
or seemingly lost environments, strange parts of a town that in
reality would not normally exist. one apartment, i can only get
in through the window.
another one: dreams of a friend of mine from childhood. this is
the most frequent, and each one is more intense then the last. its
got to the point that in the dream i tell him, "I had a dream that
I ran into you just last night! And in that dream I had ANOTHER
ream
that I ran into you! And now finally I actually am seeing you for
real!" Its driving me crazy.

Subject: Re: MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY DON'T FOLLOW IN ANOTHERS
FOOTSTEPS
you had such a long dream that there's a lot to take in. so i
came up with a few more conclusions and better ones. the control
panel in your dream: u want desperately to have control over your
life but u don't feel it's within your grasp. u feel u don't have
enough time and there's too many distractions. u want help but
don't know where to find it. u feel lost. who's blood is on the
stairs? who's footsteps r u following in? dead relative??? who
r u trying to make happy rather than making yourself happy?? u
have to ask yourself questions to gain further knowledge of
dreams. dreams r just symbols that interpret something we already
know but r afraid to acknowledge or it gets us to ask ourselves
questions we wouldn't otherwise think of to ask ourselves. dreams
don't lie!

hi i got your dream and usually when people drink that much water
is means their on a diet and i don't know i think the unknown
enemy might be u. i think there r certain areas of your life that
u think r stagnating and the diet is only one of the things u
wanna change about your life. they say the body is your temple.
which means that the house could represent your body. or did u
say ship i can't go back and then finish this letter. i'm sorry.
i'm just happy that everyone is writing me. u also watch too many
horror and action movies dear. feel free to send me any other
dream u want and i will try my best to help u even if i am
inadequate at doing so. i don't know i'm trying to help. i
figured that's the reason u sent it to me.

Subject: in the dark
11/12/03
I am in a house that is my parents house. The surrounding
environment is a loop of sorts, that i can only call a tour-of-
subconscious. i can only compare it, to a giant park with
exhibits here and there, and a road with a tour bus that goes
around. at night there isnt supposed to be anyone outside (like
the movie westworld). there is maintenance done at night, which i
notice at a point when i am trapped outside, lost somewhere. at
this point i
observe people spraying leaves or dirt on an area, to make it look
authentic. i remember wandering around, searching, in the dark,
because there is no light. A vehicle with people encounters me,
and takes me back to the house I was in before. It is so dark.
There is an upstairs area, where I am trying to get the lights
working. I recall trying different things to get them to work
(not sure what they were anymore). I get them to work, but they
are so dim it isnt even close to being good enough. I go down the
stairs, and I find my parents. I ask them, (because they were out
all this time, and they just got back) how do I turn the lights
on? They tell me I can't because (I forgot why). The answer they
give me is very indirect, I recall. I am only going to be
comfortable when the lights turn on. And they never do.
notes: I am leaving some major things out because I cant remember
them. I've had numerous dreams with lights that dont work and
being trapped in houses with lights that wont work. This was one
of the more extensive dreams of this sort.

Subject: Dreams
I joined another group before realizing it was completely dead. I
copied this from the other post - Currently I don't have a lot of
time to keep a detailed journal, so this is something from an era
when I had more time. I also belong to a lucid dream group, but I
sometimes have to doubt the sincerity of some of the people there.
The posts here seem more like real dreams. At least more like the
kind of dreams I have (Maybe you should all be worried??).
Anyway, here's one nights worth of insanity, from a while back...
I was in the woods near where I live. The trees were strange
They were huge, the bark was grey and smooth, but knotted in many
places. The trunks were really thick, and the branches were
interwound. I went up a hill, and on top of the hill there was a
cluster of big rocks - they were brown, and cube-like (like salt
crystals, only brown, and the edges of the squares were rounded).
I looked out from the top of the hill and I was in a large forest
- there were trees (green) as far as I could see, and far away a
large fairly smooth like a glacier. There was somebody else with
me. I did not know him. We wanted to get to the rock to
investigate it, but it was too far away. I started walking through
the bushes, but soon there was ice everywhere. All the leaves had
fallen and turned brown. The ice was like slush/ wet snow. I broke
through it to my ankles then my knees, until I was wading through
it. It was not cold, but we could not make it to the rock
formation.
-break-
I was reading a book about psychology/behavior. It was a simple
book, like something that might have been on a supermarket shelf.
Not really worth paying attention too, I thought. There was a
story in it about a woman, I think. Somebody had written, 'if you
cared you would stop' - by someone who meant something. I said,
'something was a long time ago, love'. -I woke up
