The guys at Araknet have organized a weekly MRChat meetup. Each week at  
Wednesdays, users from BBSes that are connected to MRC, login and chat. Nice

Mystic BBS still gets a lot of attention and upgrades.. currently version

I see a lot "experimental" boards coming to the surface. These boards 
use old software and are filled with many mods. Its more a "lets see if 
this can work in present time". Its nice remembering old and cool BBS  
software. 

Twinkle BBS has closed down... not clear why, but probably personal  
issues of the sysop... which lately is a common thing to all of us.
