how to make the xbox media center your main dash on any soft modded xbox
ok if your reading this then you already have an soft modded xbox booting up either evox or unleashed dash right??? heres how to all ways boot up xbmc as soon as you press the power button on your xbox. and im assuming you have the latest xbmc build, so lets get started......this takes 1 minute to do.......start up your xbmc......go to files where you will have a split screen of drives info. on the right side of screen go to c drive.......locate evoxdash.xbe, thats your evox boot file.........ok after you locate that file, on your left side of screen go to e drive....then apps.......then xbmc........then locate evoxdash.xbe....it should be 60.0kb big and right under the default.xbe file. still on the left side of screen with your d-pad highlight that evoxdash.xbe, press the white button to bring up some options and choose copy.....hit yes.....then that file is copied over to the right side in your c drive listed as evoxdash.xbe 60.0kb. this is a shortcut file so when you power on your xbox it will boot right into xbmc!!!!(if all fails your xbox will boot up msdash.xbe wich is your original dash so you may want to back up ur original evoxdash.xbe from your c drive to your e or f drive)... your all done!! no more crappy dashes!!!! i have a few more tricks up my sleeve ill post em very soon..........
