YT video for FCU access and cleaning process
The access panel should be large enough and carefully located to remove the fan assembly:
The following links provide some examples of fan assembly removal and why having adequate access is important.

In addition to the fan assembly, the chilled and hot water isolating valves, strainers, motorized valves, drain pan and, if available, condensate pump, electrical boxes and controllers need to be accessible to be able to troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and clean the fan coil unit. It is important that no matter the type (horizontal or vertical) and location of these fan coil units, they must have the necessary access to operate and maintain them effectively and efficiently.
Also, as to the type of diffusers, it is very unusual to use swirl diffusers in hotel guestrooms. These may be more appropriate for public spaces. The mechanical performance of these diffusers have to be guaranteed by the consultants. For proper air distribution within a guestroom, both direction and the velocity of the supply air is important. Most successful applications have been with linear grilles or diffusers. Adding decorative grilles in front of air grilles and diffusers typically provide a compromised performance of air distribution, cooling / heating and acoustics. The solution must be carefully studied and selected before making a final choice. While aesthetics is important, we would not want to end up with an inferior A/C performance in these luxury rooms.
