Blitar City is famous for it's Blitar Gaprang Statue which is something absolutely interesting to see. There are several collections of manicured statues under a small building and the parking area, which also looks beautiful and clean, is located right in front of the building. Gaprang is made of Andesite stone. There are two statues that are in a squatting position. The Gaprang's statue is depicted with the characteristics of a large body like a giant. The statue's face is depicted with a scary face, bulging eyes and a grimacing mouth showing fangs and hair looking straight to the back. It could be because his face is actually the face of a giant but it can also be depicted as an Hindu statues called Tantrayana.
