Vegetable Udon Noodles
Vegetable Udon Noodles are a great meal especially if you are trying to warm up on a cool day. They are tasty and made with little effort required. Simply add YAMASA Kombu Tsuyu sauce to make the perfect udon broth, add a few other simple ingredients and dinner is served!

Ingredients
6 tbsps. (90 ml.) of Kombu Tsuyu
2 1/3 cups (600 ml.) of water
Udon noodles
100 grams of bamboo shoots
50 grams of seaweed
Instructions
- For making udon soup, in a medium sized pot, add 2 and 1/3 cups of water and 6 tablespoons of Kombu Tsuyu. Bring the udon soup to a boil. Add the bamboo shoots and seaweed. Let simmer until bamboo shoots are fully cooked.
- Meanwhile, cook the udon noodles in a separate pot according to the directions on the package. Once cooked, drain the noodles.
- Add the udon noodles to a serving bowl; pour the soup with the bamboo shoots and seaweed on top.
Product Used Kombu Tsuyu Kombu Tsuyu is made with Kombu (kelp seaweed) so it has a great subtle taste. It is a concentrated soup base and makes it easy to make noodle soup for udon, soba, stir fried noodles and several kinds of Japanese dishes.
