1986: Steve Jobs interview at age 31
Steve Jobs interview at age 31 in the documentary 'Entrepreneurs' (1986) by John Nathan featuring Steve Jobs and Lotus founder Mitch Kapor among others.
This segment shows one of the most inspiring moments during an interview with Steve Jobs sharing his dream about the world he was envisioning back in 1986.
It is usually reported that one evening in November 1986, businessman and later politician H. Ross Perot was watching PBS when this documentary was aired.
The next morning, Mr. Perot called Steve Jobs and offered to invest USD 20 millions in his company. Jobs waited a week to do not appear desperate and then accepted the investment.
Perot reportedly hoped to see a tenfold return and said: "in terms of a startup company, it's one that carries the least risk of any I've seen in 25 years in the computer industry".
