In my opinion, skateboarding is one of the most difficult hobbies
one could ever wish to engage in. It's also been around a LONG time and
is still going strong. I really get irked when people run out and buy
the latest trends. Like what you ask? Rollerblades. I hate dealing
with all the trendy Rollerbladers. They act like they own the god damn
road. And the Fr!ckin' cops don't give shit where they blade. If you
try to skate somewhere, yer almost guaranteed to be kicked out.
Skateboarding is not a crime. That has been the cry of boarders ever
since I was in middle school. Fellow Sk8ters have been trying to get
some recognition for their hobby for a long time. And the god damn
authorities just don't care. For some reason they think the rollerbladers
are safe?!?! That's total B.S. Some of these bladers are absolutely
nuts. They fly off every step doing 360's and flips and everything you
imagine and totally lose control.
Why do I skate? I skate because its a challenge and its one of the
biggest highs I can get. Mastering a trick takes a long time and once
perfected becomes a source of pride. I'm not the most gifted sk8r in
the world, but I sure try. Some of my fellow sk8rs are incredible.
Someday I want to make a sk8 video.
Oh by the way, my board is totally chipped... If anyone has a board
