are these bands all really ambient music? What is your definition of
ambient music? or is it a way for you to prove how many bands you've
ever heard of?

I just got it in the mail saturday, and it's great! they remind me of
SIANspheric a bit, but without as much of a "Storm in Heaven" bent. I
really like it, and it's pretty cool to have the bonus disc thrown in
there...my buddy claimed it immediately! 7% Solution is worth finding!!!

Another band you might like if you're into Slowdive is Seely. They're sort
of a Slowdive/Stereolab mix, I'd say, if it were possible.

of Amazing Letdowns" e.p. for a tv ad a few years back...The first time I
saw it was in a movie theater and I flipped

I have seen it on TV before....but I was in London for a while(which is
where I saw it) and they show ads before movies pretty regularly.....

I don't know *anything* about ambient music. I thought I heard some
people talking about it once, but I'm still not sure if there really
is anything called ambient music. There doesn't seem to be a section
for ambient music at Walmart!

I'm not really sure if most of the bands I listed actually exist. Many
of these band names came from hours and hours of playing Scrabble.

windy and carl
bowery electric
ecestacy of st. teresa _free d_ (good luck finding it)
seefeel
aphex twin selected ambient works (I or II)
