Dear BigToeSucker,
we want to welcome you in the land of WaVe-MaGazine!
As you might have already seen this is the 10th anniversary issue of this
stupid e-zine. Now we think we made the trace back to the roots of this
stupidity: we are so damn stupid, because the word 'improvements' makes the
whole team bang their heads against the nearest wall! 'Why in Heck does this
idiot tell such a story?' you certainly ask yourself now.. well, i don't know!
Perhaps it's just because i need to fill the introduction with something and i
lack good new ideas as the time between our releases became nothing but a
Stephen King kind of story lately, because everyone wanted to change this and
that while nobody wanted to help to change it...
But, as usual, the hard-core staff worked the animal way to remove some more
bugs, make all the shitty code a little bit faster and the content even more
weird... We still cover more than just the Pirate-Scene and we still think that
being different is what makes WaVe your choice of the day.
In this issue you'll get some of the things you wanted, like more interviews
and hopefully a damn WWW page (as it's still under construction 2 hours before
the release ;) we are not sooooo sure it will be up in time, but more about
those matters in the iNTERNAL article!).
What drives us all a little bit mad is, that we miss ansi/ascii/vga artists!
We also got alot more jobs that wait to be filled, so if you are interested
just join #wave and ask BlackMagic or chugLee about that.
Oh, as i forgot again ... I can't be in the damn channel for such a long time
each day, simply because it costs MONEY to call in my fuckin' country! This
means that it's more likely that you will meet BlackMagic there! She is co-
chief editor as i am and if you don't want to talk to her about the magazine
and tell her you want to talk to me go straight to hell.. that'll be much less
painful.
Ok, with all that good news i'll let you out of this 'elevator' to WaVeWorld
and i wish you all the fun we had doing it!

<Blackened> well I was sitting in #empire doing my thing working on getting
hold of a few of the emp siteops to get people added when marbz msgs
me and says the net division sucks
<chugLee> you have been net coordinator?
<Blackened> yes for a while and site coordinator
<Blackened> I do the two hardest jobs
<chugLee> ok ... yeah .. kinda .. so .. shoot on ;)
<Blackened> I had been asking marbz to get another person to help me with them
<Blackened> he said he had someone like 2 weeks before he kicked me out
<Blackened> and so I was thinking where is this guy and I thought marbz was
bringing him in soon
<Blackened> because I knew I'd need assistance when school started
<Blackened> well I then said to marbz in #empire fuck you marbz
<Blackened> because I was sick of getting flack from him even when I'd been
asking for help
<Blackened> you must understand I worked very hard fro empire this summer
<Blackened> when marbz was gone for a month in germany I kinda was the only
senior member the members/ couriers /siteops could rely on being
online to help
<Blackened> sib might jump in for an hour or so but not everyday I was on
for 8 hours a day minimum usually much more every day
<chugLee> did you ask for those 2 jobs or did marbz (or another leader) ask
you to do them?
<Blackened> I was given inet coordinator position when I joined
<Blackened> so when marbz first asked me to fucking step down to senior
trader I said no marbz
<Blackened> I think I should've been bumped up to high staff and just done
the major decision making while the new guy can sit on irc 15 hours
a day and bust his ass like I did mine
<chugLee> do you know who was supposed to become THE NEW GUY ?

<Blackened> I was so busy when marbz told me he found someone and who it was
I just can't recall
<chugLee> no prob. so the new co-coordinator didn't ever really show up ?

coordinator that marbz was supposed to bring in I never saw him and
he never met me
<Blackened> After I got over being angry I was very sad about marbz's actions.
<Blackened> When I joined empire I had great hope that we could become one of
the best
<Blackened> when marbz kicked me we were at #3 or #4 ranked couriering group
in the scene

claimed to have someone to help you and that his final aim was to
kick you out???
<Blackened> chug no that's not true I think he thought he had someone to
help me but that he never seemed to get that person or he just
forgot and then kicked me becuase the net division was a little
disorganized and that was because I wasn't able to keep up with it
all myself anymore one person to a growing couriering groups inet
activities is not enough
<chugLee> yeah .. i experienced 'disorganization' myself abit .. i was in for
more than 2 months and had 2 sites ... was not very impressive..
<Blackened> yeah I know I'm sorry to all you guys like I've said before I asked
marbz for help on more than one occasion and he never helped me
<chugLee> ok, so today i met 3 big empire couriers (ex) who have left the
group .. those are phalycide, scan and yourself .. first two went
to amnesia .. you don't seem to have a new affil, so ..what happens
with empire? also i went into #empire and what i got back when i
did a !seen: Marbz was off 5 days!? is empire going down the drain
now?
<Blackened> I think empire is in serious trouble this greatly disappoints me
<Blackened> I think it's a good lesson for marbz
<Blackened> I was a very hard working part of empire and I made a lot of
bonds with the couriers in empire and the siteops too
<Blackened> they knew I was doing my best to help them everyday
<Blackened> and I was always there for them and I don't think I treated any
of them unfairly
<Blackened> also marbz hasn't gotten a replacement for me last time I heard
about it and a group that had an inet coordinator position before
and suddenly doesn't have an inet coordinator position is in big
trouble

<Blackened> when phalycide left they lost the best of the bbs couriers and he
left because of the way I was treated
<chugLee> do you know anything about the 'trouble' marbz seems to have (over
and over again)? ... i also heard that on the channel as excuse why
he hasn't been on the channel lately...
<Blackened> well to tell ya the truth marbz has an ego that's too big for his
status

phalycide left because he wanted to I didn't ask anyone to leave

were outraged and angry about hearing this in #empire and they
wanted to let me know they missed me this support was very helpful
becasue I was very down after this incident and I'm just about done
with trying to build groups from the bottom now I'm going to look
for a good well established group ilke amnesia or risc and join the
one that will have me if any and then just courier...

back 3 times and declined all three

look like?
<Blackened> I think the rest of the empire couriers I recruited will leave
soon for groups like amnesia and fate(hopefully not fate) and then
empire will die
<chugLee> what does a courier group need to become a steady participant in
this race? a huge number of new groups rises and dies very soon
again. as you did some 'managing' why don't you go and found one
yourself and use your experience? or don't you have enough
connections to get all the stuff a curry-group needs?
(like cards, shells, sites, ...)
<Blackened> I can get sites, shells, cards (sometimes) but I don't know if I
want to invest the time to do it all again

<chugLee> well .. isn't the BOSS job easier? as it sounded marbz had a much
easier life than you .. with coordinators and all such people the
real LEADER isn't much more than the name anymore, or?
<Blackened> yes that was true in empire and is true in other groups it all
depends thing is I can't find people to do the coordinating like I
would do it
<Blackened> I'm dedicated I need to find loyal people that would work like I
did if I would hope to be successful in such a venture and I don't
wanna have another huge effort bring me nothing

what is Shock and what makes it different for you?
<OuTbReAk_> We are a new utils group that came to the scece
about 1 month ago. we had some major releases and some
simple ones..We really don't think that we are different from
other util groups we just release and that's it..

for windows`95 (won 1st place in a weekly review mag.)

<OuTbReAk_> this are some of our releases...
<chugLee> hmm ... sounds not bad... did you release any dupes
or uncracked shit, yet? that happens to most of the young
groups... if not how do you manage to check that they are not
dupe or uncracked .. do you check them before release?
<OuTbReAk_> We had 1 or 2 releases that were old but no DUPES
or UNCRACKED releases all of the releases were 100% working.
And i really don`t know what happend to the young groups but
i can tell you that i saw some young groups that released
all their stuff in 1 or 2 dayz and that's it and they can`t
release anymore coz they dont have something to release
they released all of it in 1 or 2 dayz coz they want the
scece to think that they are "MAJOR" group
<chugLee> Ok, how do you get the utils? Who supplies you?
<OuTbReAk_> We got some ppl in the companies and ppl who
works in computers stores and they bring us all the stuff
they got in cd`s. I can`t tell you who the suppliers are coz
1 time when we had supplier with 9-10 releases to give us
some group (i won`t say the name) stole him from SHOCK
and i really dont want it to happen again...sorry..
<chugLee> This GROUP still exists and is some well known one?
<OuTbReAk_> Yes it still exists and i don't think that it`s a
known one..but in israel it`s one of the best..
<chugLee> To be honest israelian groups are not very popular
and are often said to be 'lame' ... Do you think Shock
suffers from that prejudice?
<OuTbReAk_> I think you are right on the "LAME" part there is
some "VERY LAME" groups in israel but there is groups (like
Shock =)) that are kinda ok. and i think Shock is 1 of them
there is 3 major`s groups in israel well can`t tell the
other 2 but 1 of the 3 is shock =)
<chugLee> Then ... why did you choose Utils? A group can become
more famous when it also/only releases Games.
<OuTbReAk_> Hmm i don`t think that in israel ppl can get
Unreleased games it's too hard but we can get utils anytime we
want. that's why.... all the 3 Major groups in israel are Utils
so why not =) there was 1 gr8 games group name: FOGO that
released every 4-5 dayz real quality games or add-ons for
games but it closed now =(

<chugLee> do you stick to any rules when you release? like
ENGLISH/under 50 disks/cracked, ... ?
<OuTbReAk_> Hmm i think so ..... we stick only to under 50 disks
and English and if it's a major release in 5 lang. that english
isn`t 1 of them we will release it....cracked what do u mean
cracked??? not all the rlss need to be crack..
<chugLee> i meant: if there is need for a REG or for some crack
can you handle that or do you release the util without the
crack or don't you release it then?
<OuTbReAk_> Oh if there is a Reg, Serial number (and we don`t know what the
number), Pin # etc. we will release it *ONLY*
if it's 100% working with a *CRACK*
<chugLee> sounds good. so, which way does a release take
through shock? do you, as leader, get it directly from the
supplier and package it or does someone else test and package
it?
<OuTbReAk_> 1st im taking the release from the supplier 2nd test
it 3rd pack it 4th send it to a major nodes board 5th the
release is out! grab it! Only the leaders/seniors in shock
packs the release!
<chugLee> does Shock have any major affiliations? any fast US
boards or ftp sites?
<OuTbReAk_> sure do. do you want names?

<SHaRK> Hi HolyBeast, can u tell me of your current & past affils & what your
jobs were in the scene?
<HolyBeast> Okay, I just left Prestige to form my own group RomLight, and in
the utility scene I'm loyal to Siege. I'm cracker in both groups.
I've been member of PWA,HBD,TDT,SCOTCH,Rebels, MTY, and some
others.
<SHaRK> How long have u been in the scene? & when u started were u courier or
supplier or cracker etc??
<HolyBeast> I really got into the scene by calling some Swedish 'elite'
boards, they're all gone now. I didn't really trade, at that time
PC EXPRESS was getting famous around the world so what I did was
code PCE utilities for boards. This was in 1990-91 I think.
<SHaRK> Yeh I remember PCExpress.. didnt like 2 get diz's from .LZH files
much hehe, so what were your first impressions when u got into the
scene & what do u think of it now?
<HolyBeast> Well, I didn't know much about the scene, always liked
programming/cracking, long before I knew there was a scene. But
when I saw I could get stuff for the stuff I do, I joined the
scene. Mostly as a demo programmer. But I didn't really like it,
I could never understand how someone could have a board, or trade
stuff that he never even unpacked or tested. I even opened a
board, just to get utils/games I could use myself.
<SHaRK> Yes thats true, but I guess they trade, they get creds, they get
known, they lose their time... So about cracking/programming, did u
learn by yourself or learn at any skools or what?
<HolyBeast> I learned programming PASCAL pretty much by myself, I had noone
to help me at all, no books and I was just a kid so there was
nowhere to study programming for a 10 years old kid. But I moved
on to assembly, but I had some scene friends at that time, like
Robban/Cascada, Sourcerer/The Code Blasters etc. They helped me
alot, I've never really ever read a programming book.
<SHaRK> So how long was it before u made your first program/crack that u were
proud of? & also do u remember the very first demo/crack u made 4 a
group?
<HolyBeast> First programs I cracked was probably my own, by programming
something simple in Pascal and trying to modify it etc. So I
never really actually remember my real first crack for any group.
I never really coded any big demo, just alot of intros, for
bbses, groups etc. But I guess I didn't crack alot back then,
I've probably never been as active as cracker as I was in the
period I was in Prestige.
<SHaRK> OK on 2 about groups, which group do u remember u liked most?
That u had the most fun it &/or gotten the most out of?
<HolyBeast> That would definately be FairLight and Siege. Prestige was cool
too. I especially like these because of the friendship in the
groups.
<SHaRK> Yes I remember fairlight used 2 be very cool.. but why did u leave
Prestige? Would u care 2 speak about that?
<HolyBeast> Guess I can, the situation was very complicated, during the time
I was in Prestige/Siege I was 100% loyal, I got all the time
offers from bigger groups that even might have been better but I
stayed. I simply don't like the way the scene turned out, it
should be more about Friendship and Quality. Not all about Money,
Slaves(members), Quantity. This is how I felt the games scene
worked right now so I left Prestige.
<SHaRK> Do u mean the ideals that Prestige had, has now changed?
<HolyBeast> No I think they're pretty much the same, and so is Razor, Hybrid
etc. I wasn't really happy when I started cracking the the Games
scene. But a few people in Prestige were very cool so I stayed
(no names).
<SHaRK> Which brings up an interesting question about the workings of groups:
without naming names, what has groups offered 2 u that was the most?
ie. $$, cc's, sites, etc?
<HolyBeast> It was different, *ALL* offered sites. One group offered
unlimited calling cards, that is I get 2, if one dies I get
another one. I've been offered hardware, mostly Modems. And some
groups wanted to give Senior etc. But never cash...
<SHaRK> So u have been approached by groups leaders trying 2 "tempt" u 2
their groups? & what is the best offer u think u recieved?
<HolyBeast> I guess that particular calling card offer was probably the best.
But I stayed loyal, plus it's dangerous here to phreak.
<SHaRK> I think u said before that u prefered the utils scene over the
games?? Why is that?
<HolyBeast> No I prefer the Games scene over the utility scene, I'm in the
utility scene just to help my friends. Only reason I'm the scene
is to compete. The scene started with cracking/releasing *GAMES*,
not utilities. There is no competition in releasing utils. There
are *SO MANY* utilities out there that never get released, if I
had some cash I could probably go to my local stores and pick
some up.
<SHaRK> The reason is 2 compete? u mean 2 compete who can crack the games
best & first? & what is it 4? Personal satisfaction? Fame?
<HolyBeast> It was for fame in the beginning, now I know it isn't. It's for
personal satisfaction I guess.
<SHaRK> Well speaking of satisfaction, do u remember what is the hardest
crack u did that gave the most satisfaction?
<HolyBeast> I've never actually have had the chance to come over the real
bitches, but I made an unpacker for a exe/com compressor which
was quite difficult (UNTOUCH v1.0). Some old Team 17 titles I
remember was hard to crack.
<SHaRK> What about the dongle cracks? Do u do them & can u explain what it
means 2 dongle crack? As far as I know it, means the software
requires the hardware as well?
<HolyBeast> Yes, last dongle I did was for a 7pack utility for Siege, quite
simple. I haven't found dongles harder than normal protections.
Dongle is some sort of a hardware device you stick into your p/s
ports. But I know that if they put some effort into it, they can
make it *ALMOST* impossible to crack, it wouldn't simply be worth
it. But it'd require abit more hardware on the dongle.
<SHaRK> Rite.. OK who do u reckon is the best cracker(s) around in the scene
today?
<HolyBeast> Honestly don't know, but I'm very impressed with Excessive
Knights work, he seems to be a good cracker and programmer.
Don't think the good crackers are active in the scene at all
right now. And obviously they're not needed really since the
protections are so damn simple.
<SHaRK> U think the game companies have made the protections simpler now?
<HolyBeast> Yes, I don't think they're making CD-CHECKS because they want to
protect their games. If they want, they could make them much
better. But it's easier for them to make the games bigger instead.
If 50% of a game is ripped/cracked, they they don't care, in fact,
it helps them to advertise their game. If someone likes it,
they'll buy it.
<SHaRK> Yeh thats what I been noticing, if the game is that good u sorta feel
like u miss out if u dont have the animations, music etc..
Is there anything I can ask about Romlight or is that top top secret?

<fronthead> the best board was Obscene Phobia (it was then MALICE EHQ and PWA
EHQ)...I got my acct there around November'95 by RaH-ZiD

Well, that was the interview with the elite trader fronthead and as we all read
he dosen't wanna answer the questions we REALLY wanted to know about :). Well,
i think it's my responsobulity to point out some mistakes in the article...
1: I was the one who brought him into his first group and it was called TUR!
(The Underground Rebellion) and was lead by Fugitive.
2: If the scene didn't change his life much, how could he sit inside his house
23 hours a day and cut classes almost every day without anything to do and
could a dude be small and fat with an ass that wheights over 90 kg itself
without sitting in a chair all day sitetrading?
3: That things about that girl, well.. I can't possibly believe that it's true
:)

Okay well the time has come for me to play an active part in WAVE magazine. At
present it's 10.46pm on Tuesday night im as sick as a dog but insomnia still
stalks me so no sleep tonight. Also my ISP is busy so no logging onto the net
for a few hours at least. Also have a batch upload happening in the background
so couldn't log onto the net if i wanted to.. alas life is hard.
Okay well i think we have all read RCN#25 and well we have seen yet again that
it is a biased emag (that's it guys don't change on account of public opinion).
Okay well fuck trying to think of something to write of when your sick isn't
too fucking easy let me tell you that. Okay well this week in regards to the
warez scene it's been pretty dead. Well thats according to me. But well as i am
losing interest in this type of shit it's not surprising i should come up with
a statement like that.
Okay well what am i going to ramble on about in this issue. This is a serious
question as my inactivity in WAVE has started to be noticed by all in WAVE :)

Okay well in the past few issues we have covered quite a plethora of topics
ranging from the occult to the different smells pussy's give off. (smells like
a chinese food market to me but hey thats my opinion on the topic). Now to
explain my inactivity: I've had the worst fucking weeks of my life. No shit.
life sucks. It's incredible: your life can be going great for a few weeks then
all of a sudden total fuck-ups everywhere. Now why am i telling you people
this? Bloody good question, it's not like anyone gives a fuck but hey who
cares!? I'll make you all suffer with me..

supposed "Press" hmm oh well who knows i might get an interview together.
Come to think of it i've always wanted to speak to Tklp ever since the quake
hex editing incident (just in case anyone forgot about that one). Oh yeah well
recently Paralise merged with Lighting couriers (that was a while ago so just
incase anyone was curious about what happened to #paralise.)
Also a bit of personal bitching why doesnt the bot in #lightning recognize

avail no invite comes :( i feel so hurt and rejected. You know life is going

Oh yeah to add a bit of flavour to your lives i recommend the following cd..
really ambient alternative shit. The Cd is called "Nearly God" it's by Tricky
and it's really cool, just a compilation of a few duo's with bjork and a few

Over hyped American Extravaganza. Good Story although could have done without

Australia. We kinda get things rather late and well ID4 opened on 29/8/96 at
midnight and well i was there watching it. Also just picking the shit outta
this movie. I'm sure you all know the scene where Will Smiths stripper A.K.A
fiance is running through the tunnel and theres a big, Fucking Huge, Gigantic
ball of flame behind her. Well when she survives this (being the only one in
the tunnel to think of opening the door to the maintenance room) everything
around shows the signs of total destruction EXCEPT the TWO palm trees in the
distance.. Okay well let's examine this. I saw no cockroaches. Aren't they
supposed to survive everything? But yet the cockroaches died and the palm
trees lived. Strange but true. I've decided to spend the rest of my life in a
palm tree. If I ever see total annihilation coming my way im running up that
fucking tree to save my ass. And if it doesn't save me "Screw you hollywood for
fucking with my mind". Anyway out of 10 i give ID4 an 8. It was still a great
movie just to much hype made people think this would be the movie to redefine
the word Movie..
Also another movie i watched was THE ROCK. Honestly it was better than ID4 and
well yet again the world (Bay Area Of America - means nothing to me at all) is
saved from total destruction. Whew it was close though. One more guidance
system to go, a few mins to find it. Countdown is ticking away. Well Great
movie although i must say i was near tears when the F355 Spider was crushed by
a tram.. To the producers in Hollywood: You're all a pack of thoughtless
bastards!
I would give THE ROCK a 9 out of 10. Who knows where this movie review page
will go. You just have to think about it. All Emags Have Warez Reviews. We at

As you know, this is WAVE magazine's 10th anniversary! So I thought I'd share
a special secret with the loyal readers! Which other E-Mag will give you such
information?! What the hell is it?? Well, read on!!
Listen up, todays lesson will be how 2 make a MOHAWK! You'd like 2 learn
that wouldn't you?? I'll bet you've walked down the street & seen some dude
with a huge mohawk & thought 2 yourself "wow I'd like 2 have that!" BUT u
never knew how they put it up? Or how they keep it up so long? Or how cum
some of them dont even fall apart in the rain!? So, let me impart some of my
knowledge & experience with ya!

Before we start, firstly;
If you are the kinda person who cannot understand simple instructions &
are likely to mess even the simplest things up, then don't read on!
If you are the kinda person who laughs at punks or at anyone who looks
different, don't read on!
If your father is a yobbo redneck who has threatened to shoot you before
just for small things, then don't read on!
If you are REBEL CHICKEN & think that having a mohawk will get you a
chick... well uhmm.. I guess you're welcum to try! Hahah but I have a
feeling you will STILL not get anything!
Ok then, everything is clear, lets go on! I will make this article into a
question/answer format as I think that's easier than me rambling on in large
paragraphs.
Q: What is a MOHAWK??
A: Why are you reading this? Fuck off!! (Unless becoz of language barriers)
Mohawks are a cool hairstyle that is worn by some American Indian tribes,
and more recently, by a lot of people called PUNKS. Of course, even if you
do have a Mohawk, it doesn't necessarily mean you're a American Indian or a
punk, becoz punk is in the heart & soul, not the outer layers. & American
Indian is in the blood, not the hairstyle!
Q: What does a Mohawk look like?
A: The hair (on the head) is shaven or short on both sides & the rest is
sticking up either in a fan shape, or spikes. & colorful is best!
Q: OK, so how do I put up my mohawk! Tell me already!
A: Now we are at the interesting part! Sit back, relax, pump some music &
learn!
First off, there are a few different methods of making your Mohawk. But
before you start, first get some clippers or a razor & shave off the hair
on the sides of your head, leaving the middle bit. You can leave a wide or
thin middle bit, depending what style you want.
You will need: Hairdryer
Hairspray or Wood glue (ie. PVA) or sugar & water
Mirror
Now as u can guess already what the secret ingredient(s) are for the
Mohawk. Let me tell you about it;
If you use hairspray, its best to use a really strong one! The
STRONGEST you can find, down in Australia, I have seen the strongest to
be SILHOUETTE? I think thats the name of it. Any not so strong ones just
don't cut it.
As for wood glue, thats what I use... personally I think thats the best
of it all! You see, when you use wood glue, it won't wash out in the rain
meaning your hair won't collapse/fall! You can still get it out when you
wash your hair in warm water. You know when you get glue on your hands?
When you rub your hands, the glue cums off in bits of white stuff? Well
thats what will happen when you wash it outta your hair, so rub it a bit &
no problems!
Now, with sugar & water, you have to mix them together creating a thick
paste like stuff. This is a bit like the hairspray, as when the mixture
dries, it becums hard! Great, your hair will stick up touching the sky!
OK, now that you've decided what you will go with (stick with wood glue
I tell ya), it's time to make yourself a cool hairstyle! Sit in front of
the mirror so you can see what you are doing & decided what style Mohawk
you want!
#1 Long, thin spikes
These are when you have a number of spikes a few centimeters apart going
around your head. Thats the style I used 2 have.
#2 Fan shaped
This is just a flat, fan-like shape hair sticking up around your head.
Stops the wind sometimes if it's strong enuff ==B-)
#3 Thick Mohawk
Thick is like a fan shaped one, except its not flat!
These are hard to describe as I'm not very good at describing things.. but
I'm sure you've seen them around so hopefully know what the fuck I'm
talking about!
For the long thin spikes:
Divide your hair into however many pieces you want, starting from the top,
working to the bottom of your head. So, grab a section of the hair &
squeeze it together with your hand so that it becums a cone-spike shape.
Hairspray it or wood glue it or whatever together. Of course, this must be
sticking upwards (like a rhino horn), now blow dry it until its hard & dry.
Repeat with all other sections you divided till you have no more sections
left! Some bits may be stubborn & won't stay standing up, so you might have
to use a bit more adhesive at the bottom (near your scalp) of your head.
Instead of doing just spike by spike all the way down, you can also divide
it in half sideways so you have two spikes by two spikes.
Drawing --B-) <--- one spike by one spike
==B-) <--- two spike by two spike
For the fan shaped Mo':
OK this will be a little more difficult. Put some sticky stuff on your
hands (no not THAT sticky stuff!) & using both hands, run them up from the
sides of the hair, so that it sticks up in one big flat piece. Hold it
there while you get someone to blowdry it! Now get the next section of hair
& do the same thing! You may have to do it a few times as I don't think
your hands will do your whole head at once! I find that this is easier to
make it stay up than the spike type, but it also requires that you get
someone to help you, unless you can hold it with one hand while the other
drys it. Also with this, you can divide it into halves side by side (like
the spike) which looks cool too.. bit like having 2 Mohawks.
For the thick Mohawk:
By thick I mean it's like the fan shaped one, but its not thin like a fan,
but actually well.. thick (how can I explain? I just leave it to your mind)
What we do is, turn your head upside down by bending over (make sure that
no one is behind you who is gay). Now get some stuff on your hand & run it
thru your hair like you are brushing it.. when your hand gets to the top of
the hair, hold it there & dry it! Do the same with the rest of the head,
but when you get to the back of your head, instead of bending over, you
may have to bend backwards instead, unless you can manage just by standing
normally. But bending is easier, I reckon.
Q: OK it's up, now what things would I have to watch out for?
A: Well, depending on what ingredients you used, these are the hazards:
Hair spray - Washes out in the rain easily, leaving you with a fallen or
broken Mohawk, looks a bit silly..
Wood glue - Unless you are really careful while applying this, when you
are finished, you might find bits of white glue on your hair, this looks
pretty bad, so you might want to use some color spray to cover it up.
Also, if you're not careful while washing it out, you will lose some hair
but nothing major, just a few strands.
Sugar - Well... it also washes out in the rain, & also, if you happen to
crash somewhere, the ants might get ya!
All up, I recommend using the wood glue for your Mohawk needs & as for
the chicks, well unless you are dog ugly, I think you will have some
birds coming up to you & asking you about it so you can start the
chatting up! ==B-) & also, you WILL get cunts giving ya shit about it,
so learn to fight! I hope you have learned something from this & good

The word itself has evolved through many centuries and cultures. There are
different opinions about its origins. In old Anglo-Saxon, wicca and wicce
(masculine and feminine respectively) refer to a seer or one who can divine
information by means of magic. From these root words we derive the word
WICCA, a term many in a Craft used today to refer to our beliefs and practices.
Wych in Saxon and Wicce in Old English means to 'turn, bend, shape'.
An earlier Indo-European root word, wic, or weik, also means to 'bend, or shape'
As Witches we bend the energies of nature and humanity to promote healing,
growth and life. We turn the Wheel of the Year as seasons go by.

The Greek word for soul is psyche. We often think of psychics as being gifted

A Witch's power deals with life, and women are biologically more engaged in
producing life and nourishing it than are men. It is not a coincidence that
as more men assist in childbirth and take on the responsibilities of caring
for newborn infants, more men becoming interested in the Craft.
The spirit of the times is leading both men and women to reconnect with the
mysteries of life that are found in the natural rhythms of women, earth and
moon - for the mysteries of life are the mysteries of Magic.
Magic is knowledge and power that come from the ability to shift conscious-
ness at will into a non-ordinary, visionary state of awareness.
Traditionally certain tools and methods have been used to cause the shift:
dance, song, music, colours, scents, drumming, fasting, vigils, meditation,
breathing exercises, certain natural food and drinks, and forms of hypnosis

The images and symbols of Witchcraft have a mysterious and magical quality
because they tap into something deeper and more mysterious than ourselves.

ass all of creation. The deepest knowledge, just on the other side of the
nierika, is always knowledge of the universe. It is always present, even

Deeper inner knowledge from the unconscious cannot always be expressed in
words; it often requires poetry, song and ritual. Somewhere in the centre
of your soul is a sense of identity that you can never convey to another
human being by words alone. You know there is more to you that you can see
or express, just as you know there is more to the universe than you now
understand. At best you can only give hints and glimpses of your deepest

A Witch's knowledge of herself, of nature, of divine power behind the cosmos

Last minute action here:
Rapier, the (ex-) famous courier group that disbanded some weeks ago is
RE-BORN! I just had a conversation with one of the OLD and NEW members and he
told me about the reunion:
Rapier plans to come back in 200% shape... means they want to become #2 after
the untouchables (RiSC). They already got 70% of the old staff back in the
group and 20% said they'd join again when the performance is good. They have
fast sites, shells and HQs. As well they WILL HAVE cc supply.
According to Chub Druid the NET section is still a bit weak, but it will become
better soon and the BBS section already is powerful!
The couriers who joined other courier systems like sydicate, Risc, amnesia or
Empire will or already have quitted there and came back to the FAMILY rapier.
Rapier is still UNDER CONSTRUCTION and not back in full shape (though they
officially went 'online' about one week ago), but they promise to kick some
serious butt the next weeks and months and as i see the NFO they have enough
talkent to do more than just beat around the bush...

section in mags so I thought, just do it!
This section will be mainly SNES though. Why mainly SNES? Well the SNES is
still the best console available, ultra64/playstation/saturn can't beat the
SNES. I must say that Psx is really one hell of a console but SNES still is
my one and only personal gaming god. I won't be doing MD. Why not? Heh, thats
simple : I don't see enough MD stuff coming!

Umm, hoho, uuh, like this is a game by BANDAi, the creators of the KiDDiEz
tv-hit "The Power Rangers". Ouh, and guess what, they released a game called
"CAR RANGERS" after releasing the megalame POWER RANGERS a few months ago.
The game has been fixed or did not need any fix cuz it worked 100%. Aracadia
brings us a perfect release again. But now the game itself. I immediatly
recognize the music (They look like the MEGAMAN/X musics). The platform style
(The classic kill, jump, pick up an item and go style), looks a lot like
Megaman/x too. The plot : I dunno, kinda vague. But you're playing with the
POWER RANGERS (!), under the name of THE CAR RANGERS. the characters are
kinda small sprites walkin over te 2d screen smashing heads and machines.
This is again a KiDDiEz-Game. When you fall into a hole, you won't die.
Your energy bar is megabig. There are 5 stages. The game is as simple as
jerking off. In 15 minutes, I finished the game. I got some japanese crap
and a girl looking at some planets at the end. I'm not going to review
this any longer cuz I don't feel like it. I did my best but this is just
kiddiez-work. Me no like, but I had a few laughs in those 15 minutes.

Arcadia is one of the best releasing groups in the console scene, together
with some others, but I guess this release really sucks. It works fine, at
the beginning, but later it turns out that the game must be either fixed or
the game is plain lame. Why? Well, sometimes you'll get in some sort of gray
mass, it turns out that you must be a real expert in videogames and must
have x-ray eyes to get out of this mass. Really great, I had to reset.
The game itself is kind of a Sonic Rip-off, but not really. The character
looks a LITTLE bit like sonic, and can roll and run just like sonic. And,
whow, guess what, the character yu play with is a hedgehog. whoowie what a
surprise. You have to run around in a claustrofobic area while grabbing
some coins and stuff, and when you jump or move, or whatever it is you do,
the screen starts spinning around, which is really irritating. The graphics
and the music suck, which is even more irritating. BLACK PEARL really made
one HELL of game. Literally. It's a HELL. Don't try this at home ;)

Ehm, I expected a lot of this game. my Girlfriend too, she liked donald duck
games so she got all excited and stuff (Lucky me hehe). So hell, I tried it
on my Pfx/32. Wowie, looks nice, but hey, whats with the scrambled intro
screen? hm must be a small mistake. Okay, Nice moving letters n stuff, so
I start the game. Whowie what a bunch of crap this is. I can't see shit!
But, I'm optimistic so I make it to the next level, that level must look a
lot better. but NOOOOOO, it looks even worse. screens full of crap with a
nice walking shooting duck! Oh how great. Forget it HTN, If you want to start
a new group then FIX YOUR SHIT. I even tried it on a Super Wild Card, with
the same results. It DOES say Snes/Famicom/euro/pal so It's not my copier,
nor is it my Pal-Snes. great job guys!

This game is a little bit older in comparison to the others, but this is
a major release so skipping it would be stoopid. SNK is one of the groups
that have been around for a long long time, and again they prove they they
still are the best. This game, Lufia II, is really great. It's much like
Lufia part one, only bigger harder and graphics have improved a bit.
This game is an RPG game, for your information hehe. You start on a Zelda
alike map, walking around like a fool, talk to people to get hints, tips,
money, spells, etc. You have to equip yourself by buying the right armor
etcetera. If you got enough money, you can equip yourself as a warrior, and
use the "strongest" button, to equip yourself with the best stuff you have,
and in the right combination. So No fOolin around with weapons. When you
get out of the first town you will meet your first enemy. The fighting screen
is, just like part one, a 2d jump'n'run alike screen, only the sprites aint
moving. You can choose between a load of weapons (if you have them), spells,
etcetera, or you can run. You can even heal your enemy (I don't advice
this though hehe). It's much like every RPG, only this one is really hard,
nice, and fast, no waiting times at all. There is no fix needed, the game has
already been fixed, or never needed a fix. Trainers have been released, one
of them is called N!LUF2TR.LHA, this is a fix/crack/+3 trainer, I don't
understand why it needs to be fixed/cracked but hey, the trainer works 100%.
You can have unlimited Magic, Health, and money. Using the trainer spoils the
game also for 100% hehe, but if you want to play the game without any problems
then us it. If you're a real RPG player then don't leech the file, it will
ruin your entire game. Lufia II is a really great RPG, SNK released well. Too
bad there aint no real gfx improvement.

Ultra-64 .. The "Lockout".
As most of you guys know, a lot has been heard about the "Lockout".
This is some sort of strange protection against playing Japanese games
on your US console etc. Now, I found this small file that explains how to
get rid of this problem.. Here we go ..

The Final Word on the Lockout
One of the terms that has most plagued Nintendo 64 gameplayers everywhere
has been the term "lockout." Fortunately, one month before the Nintendo 64's
launch, we now know for certain exactly how the lockout is implemented. And
subsequently, how to defeat the lockout. Say hello to a system that will be
able to play both Japanese and American games.
NOTE: If you get an American system, everything below still applies. You
just have to take out the plastic rail piece, and then you will be able to
play Jap games. Of course, taking apart your system voids your warranty.
First of of all, how is the lockout implemented in the Nintendo 64? If you
look inside your cartridge port, you'll notice two little plastic "pegs" or
"tabs" on both sides of the cartridge connector. Those "pegs" can NOT be
ripped or burned off. The plastic "pegs" are molded onto a plastic rail piece
of the unit with the lettering JPN-1 stamped into it. This plastic rail piece
is screwed into the part of system casing that has the slot for the cartridge.
In the Japanese system, you'll notice the "pegs" are closer together on
the plastic rail piece than on the American plastic rail piece. If you have a
Japanese Nintendo 64 cartridge, go get it right now and compare it to the
image above. Notice how the "slots" on the back of the U.S. cartridge are
farther apart than on the Japanese cart. That removable plastic rail piece
(with the varying distances between the "pegs") inside the system is the
territory-specific lockout.
It's quite easy and safe to open up your Nintendo 64, but there is one
problem. Special screws hold together the casing of the Nintendo 64. To
unscrew these special screws, you need a special screwdriver. Unfortunately,
you can't find the special screwdriver at your local hardware store.
Never fear, though. The special 4.5mm gamebit screwdriver can be ordered
from a company called MCM Electronics. The catalog number you want to order is
22-1150. Here are their phone numbers:

If you don't live in either the U.S. or Canada, just call the U.S. number
and see if they can ship you something internationally. The gamebit
screwdriver is $7.99 U.S. a piece. That is a lot of money, but it's better
than spending $30 or $40 for an adapter. One thing you should know though: If
you never ordered from them before, you are required to spend a minimum of $20
U.S. Maybe you can order some for your friends too or something. Don't forget
to order as soon as you can because there's no telling how many they may have
left.
Upon getting the gamebit driver, you'll notice it's really too small to
try to unscrew with your fingers. So, you'll need a 1/4" hex nut driver
(found at your local store if you don't have one already) to put the gamebit
driver in. That will give you extra length and leverage you'll need to be
able to unscrew all six of the screws you need to take out.
After all the screws are out, you can pull up on the case. You'll need to
use a little bit of force because the RAM expansion pack is plugged into the
motherboard like a cartridge. After it comes off, you'll see that plastic rail
piece we've been talking about. It's just screwed into the casing with two
philips screws.
Now, there is one side effect to removing the plastic rail piece. The grey
dust covers which open up when you insert a cartridge will have to come off.
They are dependent on the plastic rail piece to fit properly. So, you'll have
to take the dust covers out too. That means your cartridge port will be
exposed now when you put back together the casing. This really isn't a
problem because you can find something to cover it or just always keep a game
plugged into the system.
After that, you can plug in a game and see that it works! Just make sure
the RAM expansion pack chip is plugged properly back into the system. If
everything fits nice and snug, then you know you had a successful
modification. It's really not difficult to do at all and is very safe. I've
already done it to my system, but of course, we can't take any blame if you
somehow screw up your system.
There it is. So there was was a territorial lockout in the N64 after all (they
really do have to include one for licensing reasons), but it's nothing a
determined hard core gamer can't get around. Once you order the 4.5mm gamebit
screwdriver, you can now rest easy at night knowing you can play Japanese or
American games.

Arcade/Playstation - The first 3D sf game by ARIKA, Streetfighter GAIDEN!
While Capcom has been making their CPSIII-based, 2D Street Fighter III in
house, Arika, the company formed by Street Fighter II creator Akira Nishitani,
has been quietly programming Street Fighter's 3D debut. The first few shots
have evidently already been released (we'll have them up as soon as we get our
hands on them), but until then, here's all of the information we have on it:
Street Fighter Gaiden was created in an attempt to bring the pleasures of
traditional Capcom control to the 3D fighting genre. The game will feature
Street Fighter's emphasis (compared to other 3D fighting games) on jumping
attacks, fireball and dragon punch style special moves, and two stage blocking
by pressing back or down and back. The button arrangement is, of course, 3
punch and 3 kick, and a super gauge will be featured.
Arika promises to not only replicate the Street Fighter style play mechanics,
but advance the game system as well. Details are still sketchy on what exactly
they plan to do, but their comments hint at an annoyance with players who sim-
ply wait for their opponent to attack them, so that they can counter. Whatever
new system is included will evidently favor the aggressor over the cautious,
defensive player.
The first shots released show 7 different characters, including Ken, Ryu, Chun
Li, and Zangief from Street Fighter II, plus three new characters. Their names
are Pullum Prina, Doctrine Dark, and Skullomania. Doctrine Dark has a wire he
evidently uses as a garrote, as well as bombs. Details on Skullomania are un-
clear... supposedly he appears to be some sort of skeleton costumed superhero,
and his fighting style features a number of unpredictable movements designed
to confuse his foes. Sounds interesting. No information on Pullum yet.

I took a look at the 1mb big SMC file, and what I saw was really fantastic.
This guy took geat effort in making his own games and showing them proudly
to capcom. Included is a SF-Ripoff which looks really GREAT, a few other
games and some sprite editorials. This looks really masterous, this guy
would probably be good for a real gamehit.. But capcom Rejected the guy ..
Now this is not such a big point, but throughout 1996 CAPCOM has already
rejected a LOT of talented people, and why? Nobody seems to know. A
reliable source of mine told me that CAPCOM is pumping a lot of money in
some kind of new Console Project, yeah, a new console, and that they are
rejecting talented people because of the lack of funds? This could be true,
other proof is given by SF GAIDEN, the first 3d streetfighter game which was
expected to be released under CAPCOM first, but some company called ARIKA
started to produce the 3d killer? This is really weird. The rumour I heard
several times about capcom introducing a new console next year, might not
be true, but they probably ARE working on some important project and it
probably MIGTH be true that they have a lack of funds. Now, I dont think
CAPCOM will pump a lot of money in their 2d streetfighter 3, but they are
pumping it in some really expensive shit. I'm writing this article caus I
want to know what's going on, should I believe these rumours, and if these
rumours are not true, why is capcom rejecting all those programmers, and
why did capcom not blow their money into sf2 3d BEFORE arika did this?
Somebody please tell me, is this all a big lie, or can we expect a new

Where to get issues off the WEB? .. well ... the page is NOT up yet, but will

Also there is an IRC channel for WaVe... called #WAVE ;)
We are STILL looking for a decent FTP site (or sites!) that will allow us to
install a generic Wave account to enable anyone to get Wave via FTP.
