Huawei is not planning a HarmonyOS's phone
Huawei confirmed that at the moment, due to the lack of Apps for the new operating system, will continue to use in it's next smartphones the Google’s Android operating system rather than HarmonyOS.
Huawei got an extension from US government for another three months, so will be allowed to install Android in it's devices until middle of November 2019. Mr. Yang thinks it is unlikely that Huawei would launch a HarmonyOS smartphone this year.
However Huawei may release some devices powered by HarmonyOS in china in the next future, like for example smartwatches in addition to the Honor Vision TV previously announced.
