HELLO EVERYBODY. WELCOME BACK...
This is the beginning of the end of civilization as we know it, the Mac
hack community will never be the same again...ok maybe it will, but were
not gonna let anybody admit that nothings changed.
The first issue was a BIG success. We have distributed it NATIONWIDE! The
total number of copies that are floating around is currently 143 that we
know about...So if you don't have your copy of issue #001 yet, I'm sure
your gonna find it on a board near you quite soon...
Well there's been a few changes around here...The Boogeyman finally got
another better account (he only had e-mail and limited other things...) so
you can reach him easier (if you want to). T.B. and I are co-editors for this
issue, and every issue, because I got bored not knowing what was going on
last time with the zine...
PHRuWT is now available via anonymous ftp from ftp.netcom.com /pub/fi/filbert
along with the official PHRuWT Archive and other general Macintosh, IBM,
UNIX, and other H/P stuff as well as just general text on
hacking/phreaking/chaos/karding/virus and other things like that.
Lemme see what else do we have going on...Oh there are some new additions to
PHRuWT this time, we have made a section called PHRuWTphilez kinda like a bio
about somebody in the group or something like that. We've also added a
Letter's to the Editor section where if you have any questions we'll try
and answer them for you. The rest is pretty much the same, just user
contributed filez that you the reader have written.
If you wanna write something for the zine, e-mail phruwt-l@netcom.com,
filbert@netcom.com, or seth.banks@24stex,com with your article attached to
the mail in any form you want. Though we suggest that you stuff it and
attach it as a separate thing because its just easier. We accept philez in
all forms (.sit, .cpt, .zip, .binhqx, .uuencode...etc) or what ever you like
to use, but try and use something that's a standard not a funky compactor
you made one day when you were bored and nobody but you has a copy of.
We've added a section called ARCHIVE STUFF, which is basically gonna be a
kewl h/p Mac file from our archives or from something that we pick up from
users. This month WARDIALER is featured. Its a classic tool, one that
EVERYBODY should have, and if you already do, you
can never have to many...
LOCAL NEWS:
In local BBS news, there was an attempted murder on Midnight Maniacs BBS about
a month ago. The attack failed. The responsible party (Tyrome) has been deleted.
Weed, AKA The Deadhead Phreak, successfully murdered one of the BEST boards
I've called in a long time. I don't think he realized exactly what he was
doing...but, it was hella phunny. We hope to soon see Darth Vaders board
back up and running soon, cause we miss it.
Digital Remix...Successfully put an end to a kewl elite board. If we ever
find him were gonna hurt him.
As you can see, it hasn't been a very good month around here. With the
release of PHRuWT iNC's "Hermers Killer" program, people have been
getting carried away. The problem is that HK was never meant to hit the
streets. We gave a copy to Weed because he wanted to see it,
and he murdered ****** with it, so he could get more download credits...
what a waste of a good board...
Oh well...Thanks for listening everybody. We just wanna thank you again for
your contributions and feedback that you have given us.
