No manual here : just use the 'find' option in your txt editor if you
want to look at a certain article. Yeah, sure, it suxx, but I don't know the
first thing about coding and I don't intend to do so. If u don't like

There are several great compumags with X-treme gfx & sound and with info about
everything you ever wished. But there is NO mag about the Belgian scene! Ain't
that a pitty I thought. So here it is (taz
m) : the first Belgian Scene
Report.
I'll be talking about demo's, HPA, my grandma's stockings, blacklists,
other mags, my mother's stockings, Ansis, new riliz, old riliz, my father's
stockings (?), the size of the 3.5" disk, warez, CC, BB, PBX, maybe YOUR
stockings, ... in other words : EVERY aspect of the Belgian scene.
Maybe somebody will code a kewl proggie to make this mag look better,
maybe I'll write a new issue next week, maybe next month, maybe I'll
never ever write an issue again, maybe someone will add music to this mag,
maybe i should learn how to wride dezend Enghlish, maybe tomorrow the
world will implode, maybe nobody is interested in all these maybe's... frankly
my dear, I don't give a damn.
Anybody interested in contributing to this mag is free to call my
Board (ByteMania +32-(0)16/82.49.41) and ul an article (PRIVATE that is).
Always write me a messy, coz I might miss your article. If u think there
is ANYTHING incorrect in this mag (and there will be), write me a messy and
I'll publish it. If you have a strange urge to kill all women with green
earrings, or are just sexually frustrated, write an article and I'll publish it.
If... eh, nah, never mind...
Of course I can refuse certain articles/messys; for example : I don't accept
racial bullshit here... But if you want to invite the cat of your aunt to a
romantic dinner or you want to write some hate-mail to Freaker (Seems that's
"in" lately)... just go ahead, I publish almost everything! But never forget
this is a neutral mag, I never take sides here, so if you write an article,
it's your head that's being crushed if u insult somebody :-))

* BSR#1 is out! Everybody is laughing at ByteMare's feeble attempt
to write a mag together.
* IMPHOBIA #10 is out! Guess you knew that already, otherwise you are a
big Whimp! Too bad LORD CYRIX seems not happy with some of the contense, so
he wrote a little hate mail to DARKNESS. To add some Xtra effect to it, he
named the file the same as the mag. I don't know if that is such a smart move.
If you were a sysop, what would you prefer, Imphobia magazine #10, or a hate
mail from LC?
* Digital Fuse is back online! They found a new sponsor and are back
ripping up the competition with 3 speedish nodes. The number remained.

##5 Belgian Groups

I'll try something new here... I'll start out this issue with a list
of all groups I know and a brief introduction for every one of them. In the
next issues I'll just add some news here and there. Of course I'll forget a lot
of groups, maybe I'll list some groups that don't exist anymore. That's where
this 1st issue is for. So if you are in a group that is not in the listing or
not described in the correct way, just write me a messy and i'll correct
it. When I say 'misc group' I mean a group that releases a bit of everything.
From now on I'll try to get a hold on all of the riliz of these groups, so I
can tell da (Belgian) world what's happening with the group.
* Acces Denied
One of the groups that formed the base of the Belgian Demo scene. I
still remember Lord Cyrix showing me his first demo : nothing much
really, but in those days it was REVOLUTIONARY. They were maybe not so
famous because of their great demo's (that part came later), but
mainly because the had an extremely big mouth. The text in their demo's was
Racial, sexist, vulgar... and consisted mainly of 'fuckings go to: '. It was
great fun seeing Acces Denied (they all had names from memebers of Guns 'n
Roses backthen) fight a war with other groups, like for Mysterious art. They
invented the 'hate demo'. For instance, when they kicked out one of their
members, Slash, I remember 4 or 5 demos entirely dedicated to calling each
other names. But later on the group became one of the leading art groups
in the world. At this moment, the group is no longer existing, guess they
had lots of other things taking up their time. One of the members is at this
point known as Lord Cyrix... guess he doesn't need no introduction... Since
this group no longer exists, I'll erase it by next issue.
* Ansi requirs talent [ART] (ART-*.*)
First big Belgian Ansi group. Came forth from a merge between Trinity
[3NT] (3NT*.*) and Little Big One [LBO] (LBO-*.*). There were some internal
troubles and the group is dead now. The following happened to the members :
BurpS joined an US group called Bleach. This group has released two packs
until now (BLEACH*.ZIP). Whitesnake and Hex Avery joined X!ess, Beyond c00l
joined Boogie Down Productions. Read more about these groups further on in
this file. Csurfer has not been reported active in the Ansi scene lately.
Another dead group, which will be erased from this list.
* Azure Sky Independent [AS] (AS-*.*)
Belgian music Label. They release modules (of course), TXTs, scanned
pics, everything about music. Have the strange habbit of releasing
several products at once. There used to be a short merge between Azure
Sky and Traxx but it didn't seem to work out, so they split up again.
Maybe not so big as Pure, but surely not to negelect.
* Belgain drugs syndicate [BDS] (noabbrev)
A rather new Misc group. I thought they would be releasing lots of HPA
stuff, but it turns out they mainly do Muzak.
* Belgian hackers & warez association [NOABBRV] (noabbrv)
One of those groups that don't really releases a lot. I saw some cracks, a
useless Bluebox method and some other stuff.
* Belgain Soft exchange [BSE] (BSE*.*)
Another small new group. Have released internet gifs, PCB thingies and maybe
some other stuff.
* Black out [BLOT] (BLOT*.*)
Mainly PPE group. They have made some nice things from which the
lastcallers is one of the most used. As far as I know they only have
three members, so they are not really that productive.
* Black Pyramid Inc. [BPI] (BPI-*.*)
Misc group. Nothing to say really, they release a bit of this and that every
now and than (gee, another line filled :-))
* Bonzai [BNZ] (noabbrev)
Mainly releasing cracks and warez orientated things. But since there
are two groups under this name, I really can't give any specific info.
* Boogie Down productions [BDP] (BDP#*.*)
Rather New Ansi group. Their first pack was rather silly, but some
talent was to be detected. Now that their 4th pack has been released,
you will notice that their talent is growing. They have the strange
habbit of releasing some 'preview' ansis to announce the upcoming
pack. They also have this weird ansi-comic series included in their
packs. Coeffey [da leader] is a fan of very intense .NFO files. Beyond
c00l, who only recently joined the group has released a farewell messy
to the scene. Short BDP membership that was. Hope u have phun in your
scene-less exsistence, beyond!
* Cyberpunks [TCP] (noabbrv)
Music group. Looks like how longer they exist, the more they release.
* D.Leria [NOABBRV] (noabbrv)
I really don't know what the name stands for, but it sounds good, uh?
Another of those misc groups. They make ... eh... a bit of everything I
guess :-)). Regular riliz.
* Exotica [EXO] (EXO-*.*)
Adult picture specialists. A 'secret' group, nobody knows where it
comes from or who the members are. My guess is some known sceners are having
a realy great deal of fun leeching these pics from internet and are to proud
to admid they 'do' erotic stuff. Comon guys, show us your dick! I'm perverted
and I'm proud of it. I think I know who is behind it, but since I only write
things I'm sure off, I'll not telling it, neh.
* Fuel [FL] (FL-*.*)
Another misc group. Was formed in kinda confusing circumstances, some members
come from the former Bad Influence, and I don't really think they like each
other (seen some naughty oneliners on that). They have an enormous flow of
riliz and some say that that makes the quality go down. But I guess I move
too much in TLY circles :-)) I like their Ansi pack, though. Recently they
kicked uit The Grim Reaper coz some of his ansi's were ACiD rip-offs. Read
some boring Blacklist about that :-))
* Hot Dicks [HD] (Noabbrv)
Not so productive demo group. None of the members have a modem so they send
me their riliz on disk and I spread them. As their name indicates, their
demos are very sex orientated. They are not so talented, but have some very
original ideas, which their future riliz will show.
* Imagine [IMG] (noabbrv)
Another demo group. They sure have a lot of talent, but since their
main aim is to have fun together, they released some demos that lack
the 'finishing touch'. Anyway, they finished second on the wired
democompo, you can say they are one of the leading demo crews in
Belgium. They also rel'ed a mod and some other small riliz and they
organised the 'Drink until you drop' party.I could not attend this
drinkfest since I had to work, but if u read the partyreports it must
have been rather... eh.. intoxicated :-)). They once tried out a HPA
file that explained how to get high with bananas. They promised a
report on both their booz- and banana party but I havn't seen any of
those riliz. Guess that is part of the 'having fun' aspect :-))
* Imphobia [NOABBREV] (IMPHOB*.*)
Dudes responsable for what is probably the first diskmag in Belgium, maybe
even one of the first in the world. One thing is sure : they kept on growing
and I think they are one the leading diskmag-crews of the moment.
* Marie Jeanne [MJ] (noabbrv)
A discovery of mine (whee :-)). This guy surfs all over internet
looking for Dope releated files. Soon he will release a first pack.
The little files that are traveling around the scene now, are beta
thingies which probably will be included in the pack.
* Members of mayday [MOM] (noabbrev)
LAMERS! Eh, no, I mean, they don't have any .NFO file in their files,
so how am I supposed to know anything about them? I am not even sure
they are from Belgium. Anyway they make music, nh.
* Misterious Art
One of those very old groups I wanted to talk about. I once saw a
diskmag of them; made in a slideshow. And I don't know if that was the
first diskmag I saw or Imphobia #1. But since they stopped existing a
long time ago, I'll kick 'em outta da list.
* The Mutant [MTNT] (MTNT-*.*)
Newish Misc group. They do have one original kind of release : Asciipacks.
* Planet Hardcore Freak [PHF] (PHF_*.*)
Project from the Planet Hardcore Freak BBS. If u have a little bit of
brains you should know they make (hard house) music.
* Primus
Another misc group. Seems like they have a lot of 'riliz-flow'. Kinda
new group too.
* Pure (PURE*.*)
Pure music group (got da joke?). Result of a merge I never really
understood. I know there was a Misc group called PHUN (PHUN*.*) with a
music division called TRAXX (TRAXX*.*). Then i saw a messy saying 'all
TRAXX members joined PURE'. Ehm... I never heared of PURE so how can
one group join another that don't exist? Or was that group there and
did I miss it? Anyway, Legend Design, a small demo crew joined PURE as well.
They are still releasing Music compils (like traxx did), but also heaps of
own made mods & music disks. They have a load of composers and have a very
regular riliz flow.
* The Revolutionary Team 2001 [TRT2001] (TRT*.*)
ANOTHER Misc group! But they also have an original kind of riliz : Anarchy
packs. I havn't seen any lately, though.
* Slam [NOABBRV] (Slam-*.*)
Another Adult picture gang. Again no members afilliate, but I saw an
add for House adonis IN the gifs, so I guess we can find the guys
behind the group somewhere in those regions.
* Templar
Another strange group. They don't really have known members and only a
few dist. If you try to contact those 'members', you get no response.
In his response to Lord Cyrix in the Imphobia><S!P conflict, Darkness
claimed LC was behind the group. But I really don't know. They do have
some fishy riliz, Though.
* Triloxy [TLY] (TLY-*.*)
ANOTHER misc groups. Getting fed up reading about them? :-)) Came forth from a
merge between Radical [RAD] (noabbrev), Bad Influence [BI] (BI-*.*), two
misc groups, and Totally Stoned And Drunk' [TSD] (TSD-*.*), an ansi project.
They release Ansi & music packs, PPE's dos utils... ANYTHING. Lot's of members
and regular riliz.
* The Underground Corperation
Probably the most spoken about group in Belgium. Freaker, the leader,
is the most Blacklisted person in the Belgian scene ever. Recently I
have only seen releases made by himself, so it looks like a 1 man
show. He always releases 'strange' things. Most of the time, I don't
really see what their purpose is, but i guess that has more to do with
my braincapacity than with the TUC riliz :-))
