Saxonia Issue 02 Part 004
How to contribute
[l
Anybody who are interested in contributing to the next issue of Ssxonia
or even future issues are very welcome to do so. Everybody speaks about
supporting the scene, and supporting a mag is supporting the scene.
The adresses where you should send your contribution(s) are as follows :

If you want to send your contributions on disk, look in the adverts
section for adresses.
In order to be sure that we can use your work, please read the following.
Remember that one line of text, in articles, adverts or new, should not
be longer than 75 characters. We can edit the articles, but ascii-logos
and the likes will not look good by doing so. We use the regular topaz
font so most characters are available. Also worth noticing is that the
text screen shows 17 lines of text at the time, so adverts longer (higher)
than that will not look too good.
You can also send in cliparts. A fullscreen clipart can be 640*170 in
size. Remember that pictures will be shown in medres, a resolution of
640*256 that is. You can use upto 4 bitplanes (16 colours) but remember
that colour 0 through 3 (the first four colours) are used for textcolours
and background colours so you shouldn't depend on them. Setting them all
to black would be the best solution. The rest of the colours are upto
you, as the code changes the palette according to your needs.
A fullscreen picture for the frontend of the mag can use upto 256 colours
(AGA), and should either use lores (320*256) or medres (640*256). Use the
palette you want to, all colours are at your disposal.
Anybody who wants to draw a cartoon or similar are welcome to do so, but
please stay within the limit for fullscreen cliparts.
If you want to contribute with a module, the player-routine used in the
mag is trackerpacker 3.1, which should recognise most ProTracker commands.
I have also thought about including an AHX-player in future issues, so
if you want to use AHX, this should work out fine.
Let's take a look at when you get from contributing :
- You get to show off your work
- You do something for the scene
- You will get on the appropriate credits list in the mag
